Kayla: DADDY!

Kayla screams, running over to Jaden who was sleeping on the couch.

Jaden: Huh? What?!

He jumps up from his place on the couch.

Kayla: Mommy and me made pasta! Come onnnn!

She grabs Jaden's hand and pulls him into the kitchen.

Jaden: Mhm it smells so good!

He sits down at the table beside Kayla.

Kayla: Does it taste good Daddy?!

She asks before he takes his first bite.

Bella: Let him try it first love.

Jaden takes a bite.

Jaden: Woah it's amazing Kayls,

Kayla: Really?!

Jaden: Yeah of course, It's so good!

Kayla: Daddy?

She says looking up from her ipad.

Jaden: Yes love?

Kayla: Are you staying the night?

Jaden: I think i'm gonna go home tonight but i'll be here in the morning okay?

Kayla: Okayyyy....but couldn't you stay? Please Daddy?

She pouts.

Jaden: Only if your Mommy says it's okay.

Kayla: Mommy please? Please!

Bella: Kayla if your Daddy needs to go home he needs to go home-

Kayla: He said he's not busy! Mommy please if you don't your a bad Mommy!

Jaden: Kayla! You Mommy is not a bad Mommy, She is far from it. And I never said I wasn't busy love-

Kayla: So you're too busy for me?

She says as she starts tearing up.

Jaden: No baby of course not but your Mommy is a very good Mommy. So please don't say she's a bad Mommy okay?

Kayla: why?

Jaden: Because you might make her upset love and do you really want your Mommy to be upset?

Kayla: No...I'm sorry Mommy!

She runs over and hugs me.

Bella: It's okay baby and if your Daddy really wants to stay he can.

Kayla: Daddy?

Jaden: Fine i'll stay,

He says, Kayla jumps up and hugs him.

Kayla: YES YES YES YES!

Bella: Okay Kayls you have two hours until it's bedtime!

Kayla: Okay! Can I watch a movie?

Bella: Yeah of course.

Jaden picks her up and follows me downstairs to the living room.

Kayla: Okay i'm gonna watch Tangled!

She says taking the remote away from me and plopping on the couch.

Bella: Oh- alright!
