Jaden: she's a really cute kid.
He smiles as he sits down beside me on the sofa.
Bella: she gets quite a lot of her good looks from you.

Jaden: thanks, So umm if you don't mind me asking....when's her birthday?
Bella: February 18th, 10 days after your birthday.
Jaden: you remember my birthday?
Bella: yeah, I'm not expecting you to remember mine though.
Jaden: December 15th, I wouldn't forget that.
He smiles, he moves closer to me and places his hand on my leg,
Jaden: You know I really have fucking missed you Bella,
Bella: really? I thought you had forgotten about me.
I look down at my lap, trying to hide the fact I was blushing.
Jaden: No, I thought about you everyday when I left. I knew I should never of left you, I don't know why I did. I never got over leaving you though, It was by biggest mistake Bella.
He lightly grabs my chin and forces me to look at him.
Bella: I missed you a lot Jaden.

Kayla: Mommy! Daddy!
Kayla shouted from the top of the stairs making us both jump away from each other.
Fucking hell Kayla!
Bella: Yes baby?
I quickly go upstairs with Jaden following behind me.
Kayla: I can't sleep! I want to play with daddy!
She says, running around Jaden's legs.
Jaden: no baby it's time to sleep now. We can play tomorrow.
He says lifting her up,
Kayla: Daddy I can't sleep, don't make me sleep now. Please?
She pouts as she kisses his nose.
Jaden: Kayls, you're very cute right now bub but it's time to sleep, okay?
Kayla: Mommy tell daddy he's wrong.
She turns to face me,
Bella: princess he's not, It's time to sleep okay? You and daddy can play tomorrow you'll have ages then but for now you have to sleep.
Kayla: Mommy you're no fun. I'm not tired so why should I go to sleep?
She asks as Jaden places her down on her bed and kisses her forehead.
Bella: So you'll be able to play tomorrow, now it's time to sleep sweetheart. You don't want to fall asleep when you're playing with daddy tomorrow do you?
Kayla: No, I guess not.
She sighs before getting comfy in her bed.
Jaden: night princess, we can play tomorrow. The sooner you fall asleep the sooner we can play remember.
He crouches down and kisses her head,
Kayla: night daddy, night Mommy.
She yawns and lays down in her bed.
Mommy: night baby.
I kiss her forehead too and then we both walk out of her room.
Jaden: does that happen a lot?
He asks as we sit in the living room again.
Bella: sometimes, It usually only happens when something exciting happened before she went to bed.
Jaden: oh okay,
Bella: well um, I already know you're not going to want to spend everyday here so how are we going to work this out?
Jaden: what do you mean?
Bella: How are we going to figure this out so that Kayla can spend equal time with us both, we both have jobs that we need to work on and we can't spend our whole time staying at each others houses every night.
Jaden: you make a good point, maybe we could ease it in, she's spent her whole life living here with you. Maybe we could have her spend a few days with us together in each houses then we could start having her stay at each house for a few days at a time. Then when she's ready maybe a week?
Bella: that sounds good,
Jaden: yeah...
Jaden laughs awkwardly while scratching the back off his neck.
