Twenty Four

J A D E N ' S  P O V

There we were, making out on her fucking couch.
I had always dreamed of this moment. Being with her again.
I never thought we'd have a child together though,  that was certainly a surprise but hopefully we could make it work?

I started moving down to her neck, leaving light kisses along her jawline.

She moaned slightly, wrapping her arms around my neck and running her hands through my hair.

just then, the door bell started ringing.

For fuck sake.

I groan, lifting my head away from her neck.

Bella: Just ignore it, they'll leave eventually if it's important they will come back.

I smirk and start kissing her neck again.

But the person at the door doesn't stop.

Bella groans and pushes me off.

Bella: I'll be back in a second, there's no chance were going to get peace with them out there.

She quickly kisses me and then walks into the hallway.

I smile and lay down on the couch.

B E L L A ' S   P O V

I open the door, Standing outside was a short blonde girl with blue eyes.

Bella:  Oh hello?

??: Hi! I'm Jaden's girlfriend. He called me and asked me to drop his hoodie off for him.

She smiled, holding up a hoodie. Obviously it. was Jaden's I remembered wearing it a few years ago...

Bella: You're Jaden's girlfriend?

??: yeah that's me! My name is Mads. I'm guessing you're the mother of Jaden's child?

Bella: Yeah I'm Bella...Come in, Im sure Jaden would love to see you.

I open the door and let her walk inside. She follows behind me as we walk into the living room.Jaden was still laying on the couch.

Bella: Jaden, you're girlfriend is here.

Jaden: What are you-
He says sitting up, When he saw who was beside me his face dropped. It looked like he had seen a ghost.

Jaden: Mads?! What the hell are you doing here?!

He shouts, Jumping off the couch.

Bella: Well obviously she's come to see her boyfriend Jaden! 

I throw my hands in the air.

Jaden: No bell, Its not what it looks like I promise! She's not my girlfriend!

I cross my arms over my chest.

Mads: Of course I am Jae,

Jaden: No! You're not. We broke up Maddison!

Mads: No we didn't Jaden. Stop lying!

She says through gritted teeth.

Jaden: Bella I promise you, We broke up 6 months ago, She called me earlier but I told her I didn't want to get back together. Please you have to believe me!

He says walking closer to me. There was tears in his eyes.

Should I believe him?

Mads:  Oh my fucking god Jaden1We never broke up! It was a 6 months break. You promised me that we would get back together.

She pleads, Walking towards him and grabbing both of his hands.

He quickly swats her away.

Jaden: No Mads! I only said that so we could break up! I was miserable, you fucking controlled me everyday! I hated my life..I thought you would find someone, forget about me and then I could live a better fucking life Mads. Please just leave me alone.

His voice was weak,  The tears where now streaming down his face.

Mads: Jaden you love me, remember?

Jaden: No Mads I don't! Please just leave me alone!

Mads: Fine but don't you dare come crawling back to me okay?

She walks towards him pointing her finger in his face.

She holds it at his chest for a few seconds before quickly walking out of the house, slamming they door behind her.

Jaden: B-Bella..

He stutters, walking towards me.

Bella: come here..

I sigh and open my arms,  he quickly walks towards me and wraps his arms around me.

Bella: shhh, It's okay Jae.

I run my hands through his hair,  trying to calm him down.

Kayla: Mommy? Daddy?

Her worried voice echoes from the top of the stairs.

Jaden and I both look up.

She was slowly walking down the stairs.

Kayla: Daddy, don't cry.

Once she gets to the bottom of the stairs she runs over to Jaden and wraps her little arms around his legs.

Jaden: I'm okay sweetheart, Don't worry. What are you doing up?

He crouches down and runs her hand through her hair.

Kayla: I heard shouting, Who was at the door?

Jaden: It was no one love. Someone came to the wrong door.

He smiles as he lifts her up onto his knee.

Kayla: Mommy says we shouldn't open the door to strangers.

She wipes the tears from Jaden's eyes and kisses his nose.

Jaden: that is very good advice princess. I'll remember that for next time.

He stands up, still holding Kayla.

Jaden: Now lets get you back to bed yeah?

She nods and puts her head in the crook of his neck.

Jaden and I both walk upstairs to her room. He puts her into bed again and pulls the bedsheets over her.

Jaden: Goodnight my little princess.

He kisses her forehead,

I bend down and kiss her forehead too.

Bella: Sleep tight baby.

Jaden and I both walk towards the door but Kayla stops us..

Kayla:Wait, Mommy what are the marks on your neck?

Bella: Don't worry about it my love. I just burnt myself with the straighteners.

She nods slowly and lays her head on the pillow.

Kayla: Night night.

Jaden & Bella: Goodnight.

I turn off the light and we both leave the room.

Jaden: I am so so sorry.
he says as I close the bedroom door.

Bella: Jaden don't apologise. I have to admit, when she told me she was your girlfriend I was extremely pissed..

I laugh nervously,

Bella: But I trust you and if you say that you broke up, I believe you.

I give him a hug, He rests his chin on my shoulder and I bury my head into his chest.

Jaden: I love you Bella.

He whispers in my ear.
