Overshadowed by random screams,
There is a helpless plea.
The demons in my mind won't shut up,
How can I make them sleep?
Overshadowed by a friendly smile,
There is a hollow heart.
Neither cold nor warm,
Just yearning for love.
Overshadowed by the achievements,
There are a myriad of incomplete dreams;
Locked away in a box,
Forgotten at the seams.
Overshadowed by a cold face,
There is a broken heart.
Trampled on by people,
Never to beat again.
