The nights keep on growing longer,
And I wonder if there's an escape. My heart feels constricted,
Like my world is about to fade.I look around myself,
Seeming to be locked in a cage.Endless darkness creeping in slowly,
Bringing along the feeling of being unmade.Oh, what I'd give in this moment,
To have someone to cling to.But I brought my own flashlight,
And I don't really need a hand to hold.
