chapter 5: the journey begins

spending three weeks in the academy naruto was at his breaking point he told the hokage such the hokage decided to give him a technique that could aid him and so he taught him the kage bunshin no jutsu of which naruto had a grand idea he pulled all of the chakra he had from the grimoire and all of the chakra he could must from himself and made a ridiculous durable and long lasting clone which should if all goes exactly as he hoped to plan last until the exam where in the clone would dispel the clone was told to play the fool so as to not gain the further ire of the civilian council he didn't need his clone destroyed

after that he told misaki what he was doing said he would prefer to be alone for his journey since a giant fire breathing lizard was hard to miss she reluctantly agreed and said goodbye to her bonded

and so naruto was off it was insanely easy to sneak out of the village and begin his travels after several weeks of traveling he ran into a man with a bandaged face and a massive sword on his back the man was being followed by a girl his age and naruto had to admit the girl was rather cute

"hey kid what are you doing out here" he asked

"traveling" i said

"for" he asked

"training" i answered

"you rather like one words answers don't you" he said

"yes" i said continuing the trend of one word answers

"what's your name kid now i'm curious i'm zabuza momochi a member of the seven swordsman of the mist with the title demon of the mist" he said

"naruto" i said

"i see" he said now annoyed by me only answering everything he asks with one word

"well i could use another tool come with us" zabuza said

"excuse me" i asked

"so you can speak more then a single word at a time i said come with us as i could use a second tool" he said

"and if i refuse" i asked he moved his hand to the hilt of his massive blade the girl next to him seeing her master prepare to fight also got into a combat stance

"you don't have a choice brat" he said a second later he collapsed and i was standing behind him antenora in hand

"i honestly don't care who you are i am not someone's tool i have been used and abused for too long i am not going back to that life ever again" i said zabuza grabbed his massive sword and swung it towards me i shunpoed back to my original position a few feet in front of him

"haku" he ordered she used some type of ice jutsu i smirked

"burn everything in this world to ashes, ryujin jakka" i said as massive flames erupted around me completely melting away the ice mirrors to show a shocked zabuza and a scared haku

i was very grateful to have and be able to use every single note worthy zanpakuto under the sun

"zabuza-sama that was my strongest jutsu what do we do" she asked

"kid how about a truce we can be traveling companions" he said trying to talk his way out of it

"hmm no instead you will serve me and the uzumaki clan" i said he stared at me for a moment in shock he thought the clan had gone extinct but then that would explain his monstrous power

"agreed" he said
