Y/N arrived earlier today, my brother has been in the fields before the sun even came up, the kids were playing with Y/N and they ended getting tired and falling asleep in the living room. Cho and Me had been married for 4 years now while my brother patiently waited 8 years for Y/N's response to his confession on our Third Year Graduation, he never gave up and waited patiently for her.
They went on several dates every year but they still seem unofficial, I've been loosing my patience for these two to get together already. Y/N got stabbed so she has 5 months off, she wanted to stay here in Hyogo for that time being but her old house is preoccupied by tenants so she's looking for a place to stay, I would love to let her stay in my house but it's a bit chaotic while my brother lives alone right beside my house, they could use this chance to get together already, my wife and brother had been working all day long.
"Tadaima..." Their voices chimed as the door opened and footsteps were heard from the hall "Ukairi!" I greeted them, Cho went up to shower while my brother got himself a few herbs, he was about to go to his house to shower but he caught a glimpse of Y/N sleeping in the living room with the kids,he looked at me and I smirked "She's staying here for awhile, accompany her will you?" I asked and my brother eagerly nodded and walked out the house and went to his, Cho had come down and smiled as she saw Y/N sleeping with the kids in the living room "Time really does fly..." She said while kissing my forehead, I chuckled as I finished up preparing the food.
Y/N woke up and so did the kids, I sent her up to the bathroom so she could shower, we waited for my brother to get back so we could eat together. He was back but Y/N was still upstairs so I sent my brother to call her maybe-just maybe, they'd get some progress, they've been slow burning for too long.
~Shinsuke's POV~
I went upstairs to get Y/N, I knocked but there was no response so I opened the door, I saw her standing infront of the mirror, her shirt was lifted up as she cleaned a wound on her waist, I got worried and acted on instinct. I walked in "S-Shinsuke..." She stuttered as she acknowledged my presence "Don't move." I said as I sat her down on the counter by the sink, I continued to gently clean her wound, it seems like she got stabbed... I looked at her, she was blushing while looking away "When did you get stabbed?" I asked "A few days ago..." She mumbled "Your making me worry about you..." I said as I grabbed the bandages "I... I don't know if we should continue to meet up, It gets really dangerous... and I don't want you to get hurt." She said, I froze for a minute but I stayed silent as I finished up bandaging her.
"Let's talk about this later, come on, Suzuki and the family is waiting for us." I said as I went downstairs, I waited a little too long to let her go, I will convince her and I know I'll stay no matter how dangerous it gets but for now, The family is waiting. Y/N caught up to me and upon habit, I held her hand, she blushed, the feelings are mutual so no matter what happens... that can't change the fact I love you and how could you say such words when I have this much of an effect on you. We sat down for dinner and ate with the family, grandma kept asking about us and I said "She's the one." and continued on with my food, the family smiled while Y/N blushed from across the table.
~Y/N's POV~
Me and Shinsuke headed out to his house since Suzuki's house was full, I stayed quiet. I was about to respond to his feelings officially but I got scared last minute, I got scared that he might get in situations because of my status, He always wanted a simple life anyways so I don't want to ruin that for him.
"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" He said, I was stunned, I understood the depth of his words but... Just what if... "I don't care how dangerous it is. I love you Y/N." He said as he stopped in his tracks, we were infront of his house, I stopped in my tracks too, his beautiful hazel orbs meeting mine "Shin..." I mumbled as he stepped closer, he lifted my chin up "My heart is too stubborn, 8 years ago, you came into my life and I'm glad you did because for once... I am willing to take risks for the person I love." He said "I love you." I said and his eyes glistened and sparkled with happiness, he caressed my cheek "Can I?" He asked and I nodded, He slowly pulled me into a kiss, a sweet kiss under the stars...
"Did I keep you waiting too long?" I asked "It was worth the wait..." He said as he intertwined our hands, I smiled, I guess I can't run away from my feelings forever.... We head inside his house, we got ready for bed and as I sat on the back porch looking at the night sky, a cute white dog started sniffing me, another one came but this time it was a puppy and as soon as the bigger one stopped sniffing me, he laid down on my lap while the puppy sat beside me as I patted his head.

"I see that Yuri and Yuki likes you..." Shinsuke said and I looked at him, he sat beside me and placed the puppy on his lap "You have dogs, They are adorable." I said as I pet the furry head of the bigger dog on my lap "This is Yuri and that's Yuki." Shinsuke said as he pointed at the puppy on his lap before pointing at the larger one on mine "They are so cute." I said and he smiled "I was beginning to wonder where you went earlier, you were just with the puppies afterall." He said and I chuckled "Alright. Time to sleep!" He said and both dogs went to a corner of the living room where their beds were placed "Same goes for us." He said while kissing my forehead and leading us to his room. We washed our hands before getting comfortable on the bed, We were facing each other "What are your plans tomorrow?" He asked me "I'll be picking up Eris from school and I'll be sending her off with Niko to Tokyo since she's transferring...." I said "What time will you be home?" He asked "Before sun down, are you this worried?" I asked and he just smiled and pulled me closer to him, I rested my head on his chest as he kept me in his arms "Your actually mine." He said as I chuckled "I'm yours." I said as I kissed his cheek, We eventually fell asleep in Each other's arms.
