Excuse mistakes and Gammar Eorrs!
Today was the day we was leaving.We woke up extra early today.I had to finsh do a little packing and also Lola wanted to go get so shoes.Our flight leaves at noon and it was already 9.Waking up to Derrrick was the best.He was holding me tight all night.He didnt want to let me go even when I had to get up to use the bathroom.Lola momma made us a big breakfast.We was all just sitting eating in silence.
I had a lot of thoughts running through my head. I am I going to like it,is this the best choice for me,how does Derrick really feel,etc.
After breakfast Derrick and I went back to my room.I sat on the bed looking through my phone.
"Are you ready for today",He asked.
I sat there in silence trying to hold back the tears.After all the shit we been through and him putting me out leaving him for a whole week is killing me.I been with hin since I was 16 his the only dude I know.The only man that has love me.As much as I want to give up on this relationship I just can't.Derrick means so much to me.
"I'm not ready",I got out.
"Mane stop crying this is what best for you,Chicago is always going to be here",He said bringing me into a hug.
"Yeah,but what about you,us",I said looking him in the eye.
"First you need to finish your week and then when you get back we will talk",he said.
We was sitting across from each other.He pulled me close to him. We held each other until Lola mom came in the room.
"Hey its time",She said with a smile.
"Ok",I said getting up from the bed.
I went to go put on my shoes and jacket.
I grab my bags and Derrick grab the rest even though I'm just leaving I had to make sure I was cute when i got down there.Lola's momma took us to the airport.Rio was going to come down tomorrow.I sat in the backseat quiet.I didnt feel me crying until Derrick grab my hand.
He mouth to me that it was going to be okay.I nodded
It takes about 30 mintue to get to airport from Lolas house.The ride was quiet and I was nervous I never been on a plane before. This experience was all new for me but I was excited and nervous about it at the sametime.
The car had came to a stop amd Lola mom parked.We got out and start grabbing bags.
I haven't been out the state of Illinois I don't know how long.I went to Michigan once but I was little.Derrick carry the big bag while I had the little one.Lola and I walk side by side while the boys walk behind us.
Lola mom walk to the desk to see what rime our flight left.I sat by Derrick and put my head on his shoulder.He wrap his arm around me.
The flight to NEW ORLEANS leaves in 2 minutes. Over the intercom said.
We got up and start walking to the door holding hands. I started to cry and he grab me and told me to stop.
He kissed me and then gave Lola mom a hug and Rio.We board the plane and look at each other.
"Aye let's turn up",Lola said.
I laugh and we went to find our seats.
This is about to be one long week....
