Dear Wattpad writers,
If you plan on writing a fanfic of a couple from a show/movie/book that you ship, PLEASE FINISH IT EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY MORE IDEAS!!! I know that you can't maintain your interest in the book forever and make it as long or good as some classics like One Piece or Fairy Tail, but you can at least give us a proper ending. If you are just writing a book of one-shots then I am not talking to you unless they are connected to each other. But people are writing stories and ending it on a cliffhanger with the last chapter being "sorry I am trashing this book." Please, I don't care if you summarize a whole 20 years into one paragraph, just give the book a quick logical ending that makes sense. Please stop making your books off-brand versions of Blood Lad. They are good books, but if you keep giving up before you finish the story, you will just keep pissing people off. I don't mean to hate, but its very upsetting when a book you read twenty chapters of suddenly releases a new chapter saying, "That's where I'm going to end this book, I lost inspiration. But you can go read my new book I'm working on!" This usually makes me want to avoid that writer because I'm scared it'll be another improper ending. For those of you who tend to lost inspiration partway through, make a book that isn't a book at all and you just get recommendations from the readers in the comments. Also, maybe try writing at least 15 chapters before you start to publish them on Wattpad, that way if you lost inspiration it might happen sooner than later. Hell, if you seriously no matter what can't come up with an ending, then tell one of your readers they can finish the book on their account and you can link their account or the name of the books new ending in the bio or on the last chapter so the readers can at least get a proper ending. Not hatin, Just sayin.
