Ina's POV
I woke up to my alarm going off and of course like always, I threw it against my wall. Yeah I felt sorry for my clock but sorry dude, no one tells me when to wake up. I dragged myself out of bed and made my way to my bathroom. I look in the mirror and ruffle my hair. I'd make a fabulous lion. But as a human, I got terrible bed hair folks. I will say I am blessed to have dark brown hair as it looks gorgeous on me. Meanwhile my eyes look so black that I wish I had brighter eyes. Anyways, looks like someone needs a shower! I let out a groan and hopped in the warm shower and oh lord I wanted to stay in there forever. But school and the wrinkles that would soon form on my fingers said otherwise. I like to plan a lot of things in the shower so that way I can do it without thinking then and there. I'm weird like that...
Hi my name is Ina and welcome to my life!An hour later after getting ready
I went downstairs to greet my mom and dad. I couldn't ask for better parents in my life. As long as they know where I am and what I'm doing, they seem to let me go wherever I want. I quickly downed my breakfast and rushed out of my house waving goodbye to my parents as they both yelled "Be safe! Love you!!". God I love them. I got into Leo's car and chucked my bag in the back seat. Leo's been my bestfriend since we were 15 and ever since then, we've been inseparable.
"Good morning to you Miss Adwell" Leo said in a terrible English accent he had attempted.
"Why good morning to you as well Sir Blackwell" I said in my shit accent as well. I'm happy that I can be myself around him without having him judge me.
"I still find it funny that both our names got well in em" Leo scoffed. We both laughed and he drove to school. School's only about a 15 minute drive so the whole ride there, I of course blasted my music while Leo smoked a cig.
I leaned towards his ear and whispered in a sarcastic shocked voice"I still don't get why you smoke Leo. You know smoking kills" We both laughed and he parked in front of the school.
Leo and I parted ways once we entered school. He went straight to English, but I had a few minutes before I had chemistry so I decided to go to my locker and get some things. My locker was right outside of the principle's office so I guess you could say that I eavesdrop a lot when I want to. As I shut my locker, I heard a familiar voice from Mr. Smith's office. It was the one and only Arianna Oliver. Arianna has been like a sister to me ever since freshman year of high school. A lot of people would always give us a strange look when they saw us together. I don't blame them in any way to be honest. Arianna is this ball of rebellious energy and she does whatever she wants whenever she wants. Where as I can have my moments, but honestly in school I just don't care. I'm not preppy nor popular. I'm just normal I guess.
"Hey hoe" Arianna exclaimed. Bitch just got out of the principle's office and the first thing she decides to do is curse right in front of the office."Hello trouble" I scoffed. "So what'd you get caught for this time?"
"Drugs."
"Wha-"
"Kidding!! I just had to tell Mr. Smith that I was leaving early today for a dentist appointment" Shit I forgot she leaves early.
"Ugh I'm skipping when you leave then. I don't want to die out of boredom." I sighed and we both made small talk as we headed to chemistry.
Lunch
After our morning classes, Arianna left at lunch for her appointment, leaving me with Leo at lunch. I told him I was planning on skipping the rest of the day because there wasn't anything important and Leo being Leo, he decided to skip with me. We snuck out the back door and headed towards Leo's car.
