Danvina's POV-
"You can't just block him out of your life forever Davina." Ari knew I was hurt. But she knew that I never loved someone as much as I loved Ace.
"Says who? He killed my dad and before all of this, I was living a normal teenage life...
I felt the sun light against my face. It felt nice for a split second, but then it burned my eyes causing my to shove my face into the pillow. Ahhh... Smells like Ace. Ace. ACE OH MY GOD. I pounced up like a bunny and realized how I fell asleep last night. I felt my whole body and took a breathe of relief when I still had my clothes on. Thank God I didn't fuck anyone last night.
I got out of Ace's bed and made it back to my room. My phone was pretty much dying, so I plugged it in and went straight into the shower. I spent only about half an hour. I didn't bother washing my hair because I had already washed it yesterday and I was planning on training today. After putting on light makeup, I decided to put on a black crop top with some black cargo pants with it. I topped it off with a leather jacket and called it a day.

I headed downstairs towards the kitchen to get some food. Man I am going to need a lot of energy to train all day. I have no idea what Ace's gym looks like but I assume it has the basics like a punching bag and someone I can easily knock out. Maybe I'll have a one on one with Ace. Maybe next time.
I opened the fridge to find a banana. That'll do. I also found a granola bar so that was alright. Checked my phone and it was already 10:30. Well, I'm going to spend another hour trying to find the gym in here. I got up from my seat and as I threw my banana out, I saw an older lady walk into the kitchen. She had blonde hair with white streaks, and bright blue eyes resembling Ace's.
"Sorry dear, I didn't know anyone was in here. My apologies!" She giggled.
"Oh no! Don't worry about it ma'am." I smiled back at her.
"Please, call me Marie. Ma'am makes me sound like an ancient piece." Her and I laughed. I opened one of the cabinets to find a water bottle and to my luck, I found one and filled it up.
"If you add lemons, it tastes so much better. At least in my opinion." Marie spoke. I smiled at her. I knew her name, and I had a feeling I knew who she was.
"Do you happen to be Ace's mother by any chance?" I asked.
"Yes dear that would be me." She let out a light laugh. Now that I look at it, they both do look very familiar. I haven't seen Ace's father yet, but I bet he is handsome as well. Not that I would-never mind. I nodded and smiled as she made her way out to the kitchen. I followed her out but we parted ways and I started opening every door to find a gym. I was unlucky, when I opened one of the doors and found Ace in his office. I should have known, fuck me. I sighed and closed the door but as I was going to shut it, I heard Ace call my name, I shut my eyes tightly and let out a sigh.
"Hey there buddy" I peeked my head into his door.
"Come. We have to talk." He sounded cold again. Well now I know we won't be having fun Ace that's for sure.
"What's up my love?"
"Do not call me that." He scowled. "Your dad has made it clear he doesn't want you. He told us we could do whatever we want with you, and that he is interested in giving you up to me if that means both of our mafias work together and collide into one." I felt my heart drop into my stomach and shatter into tiny pieces. My own father didn't want me. How could he betray me like this? Was I a joke to him all along?
"Earth to Davina?" Ace snapped his fingers at me.
"Y-yeah.. What about my dad?" I asked confused.
"MY dad, has made it clear that he wants you and I to get married for this to work. Our wedding is set to happen in two weeks so a week after your birthday." He spoke. I'm getting married now? What the fuck. This isn't what I wanted. I felt my chest tighten up and my breathing became very uneasy. I gasped for air and realized I was having a full on panic attack. I got up from my seat and made my way to the door, but I stumbled to the floor on my knees.
"DAVINA" Ace yelled out. I couldn't feel my legs or anything. I could only feel my heart beating out of my chest. I felt hot but cold at the same time and my hands started to shake. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my shoulders.
"You need to breathe. Breathe with me Davina." Ace sounded scared. Like he didn't know what to do. I felt him taking deep breaths and tried to follow them. It took about two minutes, but after a bit of time and adjusting, I went back to a pretty normal pace. My hand were still shaking and Ace held onto them to try and stop it from happening. I fidgeted my toes and when I realized I had cried a little bit, I immediately stopped crying and looked at him.
"How can I marry someone I will never love?" I asked. I could never love someone like Ace De Stefano. Him and I were too different. I got up from the floor and made my out out of his office. I shut the door behind me and ran up to my room. Why did he try to help me? And why did it work?
All I know is I can't marry someone who I can never love. I can't. Taking one last deep breathe, I went into my bathroom and splashed cold water onto my face and headed back downstairs. I asked one of the guards where the gym was and they gave me the directions to where it was. God I should've just asked them to begin with. Fucking dumbass. I finally warmed up and went towards the punching bag and went off on that thing for a long time. If Ace thinks he can just put a ring on me and call me his wife, he is one funny monster.
