Davina's POV

3 Weeks Later

"Get up, you can't stay down forever" Laura pressured. Training with her has gotten a lot easier, but because it is the last day I have until I meet Ace, Laura's making me work on landing some more moves. The first week of training with her, I'm not going to lie was fucking hell. But after a week and a half, I finally kicked Don's ass and managed to trip Laura twice, so I call that a win if anything.

"Can we take 5" I grunted in pain.

"Fine but you're fighting Martinez after."

"You're insane he's going to kill me!"

"You'll live my love." She smirked. Oh boy I am going to be dead by the end of this. Martinez is only one level below Laura. Me? I'm still at baby steps. I finished downing my water and went into the ring and saw Martinez getting ready. God please let me live another day. He smirked at me.

"Don't worry stellina, I'll go easy on you."

"Try to not break my bones at the least please" He through a left swing at me causing me to dodge. I continued to dodge a couple of his punches, until he managed to hit me on the right side of my face. Oh no he did not. I gave him an upper cut to which I hit him. OH MY GOD I HIT MARTINEZ DIAZ. I then tripped him and he fell on his knees. I grabbed his left wrist and turned it behind his back and he grunted in pain.

"Tap out" I smirked.

He tapped me with his right arm causing me to let go. Damn I am good.

"Jesus Laura, did you put her on some sort of drug?"

"I have my ways" She gave an evil smile at him. I was damn proud of myself. I had not only kicked Don's ass, but now I had crushed Martinez's ass too.

"Keep that work up, and you're perfect to go Davina." Laura looked at me like a proud mom. Not only did I master fighting, but I was a natural at knife throwing and shooting. My favorite gun was still the revolver that Cassandra left me. When Laura found out about it, she asked me what my favorite color was and when I said green, she had it colored neon green. She also told me it would be my signature color.

"Come on, you still have to practice knife throwing." Laura said

"Oh come on, I'm better at that than all of you guys. I'm going to take a shower and take the rest of the day off. It's already 6 at night anyways." I walked off and upstairs into my room and plopped onto my bed on my stomach. God I am so tired. Thinking about it now, I have no idea why I say God so much, I'm not Christian or anything. I shrugged it off and hopped into the shower and as always, spend an hour and a half taking my lovely time.

Two Hours Later

We were all at the dinner table and it was about 8 at night.

"Davina," My father spoke. "Are you prepared for tomorrow?" I sighed and began to speak.
"I'm not really sure. I mean I am still new to this whole thing father. Are you sure it can't be Laura?"

"Stellina. It has to be our daughter. They must think that you are week considering the fact that they think you don't know how to fight and assume you are weak."

"What if I fail? I mean I know it's just a bunch of USBs that I need to take and run but what if they find me and kill me?" My dad gave me a cold look before telling me that a part of being in the mafia was to risk your whole life. I looked over at my mom and she had her head down as if she didn't want to reveal the tears streaming down her face. She hasn't been happy at all these past few days. We had a day out on my second week here and I really bonded with her, but ever since about four days ago she started crying again.
