I was about to go to bed but then I heard a gunshot outside I ran out the door and ruby was on the ground she was shot I quickly picked her up and called archie "archie hey I need a favor its ruby she's been shot it was the black hood" he told me that him and his dad were on the way and hung up I called sweet pea next told him get to the hospital a few minutes later archie showed up he told me get in the back seat and apply pressure to the gunshot wound we got to the hospital they put her on a gurney they asked what her name was I told them ruby Jones sweet pea had his head in his hands crying I called Betty and ronnie they showed up with their parents and sherriff keller came a few minutes later I went over to Betty "Betty please put this in the blue and gold mrs.cooper put this in the register I want the whole town to know what happened to my sister I'll put it in the black and red as well" I said on the verge of tears Betty pulled me into a hug all of the serpents were here and so was cheryl "your sister was one of my vixens I'm here to support her" I nodded in thanks I went over to sweet pea and pulled him into a hug "she's going to be ok sweets shes a fighter" I said trying to comfort my sister's boyfriend "I was supposed to protect her jughead I was supposed to protect her and I didn't this is all my fault" he said crying harder I shook my head "no its not your fault she was taken by surprise if anything it's my fault" I say trying to calm him down he eventually did calm down "jughead your dad is coming in a hour hes been released Because of your sister" I nodded I walked outside to get fresh air I walked back inside and sat down in the chair and went to sleep waiting for news about ruby
