--DIPPER'S POV--
I yawned and stretched my arms. I turned to see Mabel...wasn't in her pool? So...who had brought her downstairs? And why?
I got my answer.
"DIPPER! GET DOWN HERE! NOW!" Stan yelled up the stairs.
I groggily stood up and slowly trotted downstairs. Mabel was sitting in the armchair and Stan was standing next to her.
"What happened?" I mumbled, rubbing my eyes.
Mabel pointed to the TV screen. I looked, and saw the news report.
"We are here to announce the grand opening of a surprise camping facility!" The news woman announced. I couldn't quite tell where she was. There were cabins behind her on opposite sides of...oh no. "The site will open on this wonderful stream we discovered."
Take a guess at which stream was behind them. You probably know.
"And, scientists have deemed the water clean enough to drink!"
"WHAT?!" I yelled. "They can't do that! No, no, no!"
Mabel looked at me, her eyes wide. "We were watching the news and recognized the stream. That's why we called you. But we didn't expect this..."
I was still staring, alarmed.
"At least almost no one will go, right?" I asked nervously, and, almost as if she could hear me, the news lady announced, "And tonight the whole town is invited to a free opening event where, to celebrate nature, we will cook only with water from this pure, fresh stream!"
I fainted.
--MABEL'S POV--
Dipper collapsed onto the floor, out cold.
"Dipper!" I cried, and managed to throw my self off the chair, landing next to him.
"It's ok, kid, he just fainted." Stan said. "And I can see why."
I stared at Dipper, then at the TV, which had long since turned off.
"This is not good news." I said, carefully putting Dipper's hat back on his head. "Not good at all."
