Gus pov:

I walked into school looking for a certain human. I needed to ask her something about her and amity and how she knew she liked her, I hadn't really liked anyone before which I thought was strange. But I needed to know if this was what I thought it was, I looked around a lot of the school and eventually found her with amity and willow. "Hey guys!" I walk up to them and considered telling Luz, surely she'd understand. "Hey Gus, how are you doing?" Willow asked and I said I was good. "Um Luz I need to ask you something personal about. Mattholomule...." I say anxiously. And glance around to make sure hes not around "Oh sure. amity, I'll be right back ok?" She said and we walked just outside of earshot for them. "What's this about mattholomule? Did he make fun of you again!" She asks angrily. "What no! I was just asking... how did you know that you liked amity when you did?" I asked and looked away. Trying to hide my red face, I hear a gasp and a little laugh. "Well.. whenever I was around her I would feel like I would explode, she triggered my fight or flight i swear. and I couldn't help but blush around her, i wanted to be near her all the time and i wanted to know what she was doing all the time. i would feel better when i was with her" I realised that was exactly how it felt when I was around him.

"Oh... um." I say and avoid any questions. "Don't tell anyone this but.. I feel that way about him" I say as Luz smirks, "I won't tell anyone, this was just a surprise to me" she said and I felt relieved. "Oh look there he is! Go talk to him" she says and pushes me in the direction of him and walks back to amity. He's on his scroll and doesn't notice me, I feel really nervous and don't know what to say. I slowly walk over to him, I stand in front of him and still go Un-noticed. "Um.. mattholomule?" he suddenly looks up and looks confused. "Wait why are you talking to me?" I feel a pang of guilt prick me in the chest. Now I'm confused. "What do you mean?" I ask and he suddenly looks away. "No body talks to me at school, id think especially you. thought you'd be embarrassed to be seen with me" I think for a moment and realise what he meant. Wait why especially me? Am I special or something. My ears get hot thinking about it. "Oh well I was just wondering if you.. wanted to hang out sometime that's not at the graveyard, it's okay if you don't though!" I yell the last part and nervously await an answer.

"Well I mean.. I guess I could" he looks red, I guess he's not used to people asking him to hang out. "Nice! Could I get your number so I could.. um text you the details! Yeah that's why" he looks confused again but willingly hands over his number and I slowly put in the digits into my contacts. I send a 'hi :)' to make sure it's his number, after I knew it was his I said bye and walked away, back over to luz with a smile. "He said yes to hanging out with me" I whisper to her and she smiles. "Nice you two would make a great couple" she says, sort of whispering, and I feel my face get hot. "Shh they don't know yet" I point to amity and willow, She giggles and nods. "Alright, But it's pretty obvious, they'll find out eventually" I get nervous again, "is it really that obvious?" I ask. "Not to him" Luz says and laughs,  I relax a little. The bell goes off suddenly.

I'm going to make these short stories so that I don't have to spend more than 30 minutes on each, obviously over days because motivation hates me. (637 words)
