Gus x mattholomule. I guess

Mattholomule pov:

I was walking home and i was getting bored, plus i didn't want to actually go home yet. So i sat under one of the trees. I knew Gus walked this way so i would see him when he's walking home. I know thats creepy but i cant help it. I checked my scroll and saw a text from him. I read it quickly not wanting him to think im ignoring him. 'When do you want to hang out by the way' I didn't know, and decided to just talk to him in person instead. a few minutes later i saw him walking by he looked sort of nervous, "hey Gus!" I yell and start standing up. He freezes and looks over to me. "Oh. Hey mattholomule" he had seemed to get more nervous? Is he scared of me or something? "I was going to answer your text but i realised you walked this way and it'd be easier in real life. He looked less nervous, thats good. "Oh thats alright, wait how did you know i walked this way?" He asked and i feel my ears heat up, i couldn't say i was watching him.

"Oh, i walk this way too, i just saw you one time" i lie and thought it sounded believable "oh okay, anyways what were you going to say?" Looks like he believed it, i mean it wasn't a complete lie. "Oh, well i was thinking, maybe tomorrow? If you are free of course. Oh and if you want to, because you don't have to if you don't want to" i rambled on by accident. I hear him giggle, my cheeks flush in embarrassment. "Im free tomorrow, what time are you thinking?" He asks. "Oh i was thinking maybe we could hang out at someones house after school" i said not wanting to say his house incase he didn't want me there and it felt rude. "Oh we can go to my house if you want" he said exactly what i wanted. But i needed to make sure. "Really? I don't want to invade your-" i get cut off. "No, we can. really" i smile and nod. "Ok so tomorrow your house after school?" I make sure to smile more. Give him hints. "Yep sounds good" "Anyways gotta go, see you tomorrow!" He seems excited? "We can just walk together until we get to my house, as i suspect mines closer. Unless you don't want to of course!" I panic realising he probably doesn't want to walk with me. "Oh yeah we can didn't think of it. That's embarrassing. Hahah..." he turns red and im guessing its embarrassment. "Uh, lets go!" He flings his arm around my shoulder.

It felt nice so i didn't say anything. I couldn't help but smile, "why are you all smiley?" Gus teases. "What? Oh i don't know" i pretend to just notice now that im smiling. "Clearly because im such a great person that you are inflicted by my actions to smile" i laugh. "That sentence didn't even make sense, Gus" i start laughing harder. I didn't notice him admiring me until i stopped laughing, i stare at him. I feel the gap in my teeth with my tongue, i feel insecure "Were you looking at the gap in my teeth?" I ask and he suddenly snaps back to reality. "Oh, um. You could say that" i sigh. "I wish i didn't have it, its so ugly" i realised he probably didn't want me telling him this. "Its not ugly at all. Makes you unique, and it looks good on you" i smile that makes me feel better, probably because its coming from Gus.

Gus pov:

"Well i think all of your features look go- ok lets stop there" I embarrass myself again. I hear chuckling. "Oh hey this is my house" i say after seeing my house not far away, and pointing to the house. We walk closer and i stop. "Ok bye!" I say. "See you tomorrow, for real this time" he smiles. I quickly hug him and walk inside. Great, just embarrassed myself for like the 30th time today. i whisper to myself.

Matt pov:

I make it back to my house and go to my room. "Mattholomule? How was your day?" I hear after a small knock from my door. It was my mom. "Actually really good" I answer and with a red face. "Ooo who's got you all red?" I panic, shes really nosy and tells the entire family everything. "Uh. No one!" Saved. Right? "Sure.. that was suspiciously fast" she says and giggles. I see my brother walking by, he whispers something in her ear. "Who's Gus?" I freeze. "HEY HOW DO YOU KNOW GUS?" I yell and realise it was a little but too loud. Oops. He smirks. "Ive seen him around, school..? Its so obvious" he saw then, but how obvious am i? "Umm.. anyways" i try to change the subject and he bursts out laughing. "I overheard Gus asking you to hang out, i don't know about that it sounds like he's asking you out" he teases and i throw a pillow at him. "Moving on" i yell and they laugh more, Im probably red from embarrassment. "Alright ill leave you alone now" finally. They leave and i grab my scroll out. Oh, willow posted. I guess it's recommended since Gus is following her. Its a picture with her, Luz, amity and Gus. I stare at the picture, he's doing the finger guns. I giggle and like the picture accidentally. Oops. Oh no. Uh. What do i do? Lets just ignore it and not go back to it. Yeah.

After about 20 minutes i had forgotten about it. I get a text, its from Gus? 'Willow wants to know why you liked her photo' dang it what am i supposed to say to this. 'Oh it was an accident sorry' maybe he'll believe me. 'Huh, thats weird because i know you hate Luz and amity for some reason, and you and willow haven't talked, so clearly it was for me' busted. 'What. As i said it was an accident' i can still save this, right? 'Yeah yeah whatever you say' wait it worked? Whoa didn't expect that.
