A/N Hi guys, so sorry I haven't updated for a while. My dad is leaving my mum and has just moved into his new house, and everything has been very stressful.

This will be a very short chapter, just warning you guys, since I cut off the end of the last one to make a new chapter with.

Anyway, I really hope you guys like this and enjoy :).

Sophie's eyes fluttered open. She was in a dark room, and when she tried to move her hands, she realised they were bound with a thick rope.

Her head hurt more than anything, and she wanted to scream out and cry, but her throat was so sore she instead let out a choked sob.

Her whole body ached, and she tried to use her telepathy to reach out to anyone, anyone at all. However the more she tried, the more the pain in her head increased and she let out a blood curdling scream.

She knew that feeling. That restricted feeling.

The ability restrictor.

She sunk to the ground, shaking, tears stained on her face. Sophie was in pain, she didn't know what was going on or where she was, and most importantly, how she got there. Suddenly, the memories came flooding back.

"No! Please, Sophie. Don't you trust me?"

"I missed you, Keefe,"

"NOW!"

No, she thought. Not Keefe...he wouldn't do this. I know him! But the little voice in the back of Sophie's head asked, do you though?

Before Sophie could realise what that meant, a shadow was cast over her small figure. Sophie looked up to see him.

Her body started shaking and her eyes grew wide. He had betrayed her.

Behind him was two other hooded figures. Each time Sophie noticed the white eye on their sleeves, she had to squeeze her eyes closed and try to withhold the flashbacks.

One of the figures stooped down to Keefe's height.

"Do it." they whispered. "Prove your loyalty."

Keefe reached into his robes before bringing out a sharp, curved dagger. He held it up in front of him, examining it.

He was going to kill her.

The boy squatted down to where a tear stained Sophie was sitting helplessly. Grinning, he tilted her chin up so he could press the dagger against her neck.

Sophie looked him dead in the eye.

"Don't. You. Dare."

Hope you enjoyed this chapter!
