I watched the boys dust off their khaki like shorts and straighten themselves up to my level.

"Princess." The tallest bowed.

"Melody, this is Aaron, the oldest. Then there's Twan, Joe, and Kenn."

Twan and Aaron looked a bit older than me, while Joe and Kenn looked more my age.

"It's nice to meet you guys," I shook their hands.

"Ditto." Twan smiled.

I couldn't help but notice the appearances of all these boys.

Aaron was very tan skinned, tall, had broad shoulders, and dark hair that was tall and fluffy. He looked like the most mature out of them all.

Twan was about the same height as Aaron, but he was pretty pale, maybe a shade or two darker. His jaw structure was pretty on point, along with his eyes.

Joe was just adorable. He had that perfect little boy appeal; dimples, shaggy brown hair, freckles on his nose.

Lastly, there was Kenn. He had darker skin than everyone else. His hair was waved to the side in a perfect quiff, and as weird as it sounds, his big two front teeth complimented his face in a great way.

"Tarzan was looking for you, Jane." Aaron whipped out a pocket knife and began waving it around in air.

"Show off," Joe scoffed. "But he's right. Your boy stopped by with Terk and Tantor, but they saw that you had taken the jeep."

"Oh, yeah. Meg and I went to go grab Melody."

Aaron put his knife away and patted Twan on the shoulder.

"Well, Twan and I would love to stay and chat, but we have some business to take care of."

"I swear, if I catch you guys making those stupid bamboo bombs again-"

"And we're supposedly the 'immature' ones." Kenn shook his head, leaning on Joe.

"I mean it, Aaron." Jane finished her threat, wagging her finger in both of their faces.

Aaron threw his hands up and walked back into the trees with Twan at his side.

"What are bamboo bombs?" I had to ask.

"Bombs... made of bamboo?" Kenn laughed. "It's pretty self explanatory."

I gave him the stink eye before turning back to the girls, ready for another mission to accomplish.

"What do you want to do now?" Meg asked.

"Ooh! Let's take her to the waterfall!" Joe jumped up. "She'll love it!"

Kenn nodded in agreement as the boys each took a hand, pulling me towards the more darkened part of the jungle. I looked back at the girls and began to giggle, not sure of how to react to the sudden escort. I carefully stepped over the logs and different pieces of nature, dodging a few flying creatures here and there. Kenn lifted a curtain of pretty vines, leading me into a whole new part of nature. There was a huge, and I mean huge, water fall coming from who knows where. But, that didn't even matter. All that mattered was that it was pure beauty. The structure of the waterfall made multiple streams fall into the large pond. When I turned around to tell them how beautiful I thought it was, Kenn and Joe were too busy removing their shirts and throwing themselves into the crystal clear water. Jane, Meg, and I laughed as the boys messed around, splashing and wrestling.
