Anthony walked me back to the castle that night, ended the night with a kiss on my cheek. The next morning when I woke up, I couldn't keep the smile off my face.
What's happening to me?
Who was I kidding? I knew exactly what was happening to me. And I didn't like it, not one bit.
Anna had came into my room just as I awoke to tell me that it was time for breakfast. Back when I lived with Liza, I would make my own breakfast and go back to my room to dine by myself. But I had a feeling that things were done the 'old fashioned' way here; everyone sitting around a dining table and talking about their plans for the day and what not.
I quickly changed into a striped day dress and black heels, tying my crazy, curly hair back with a black bow. After I knew I was ready to face the day, I headed down to what I thought was the dining room. I was correct, and I couldn't help but feel awkward as my heels clicked against the stone floor, echoing through the empty room. It was a big dome with a table in the middle, in which Anna and Kristoff were already sitting at.
"Sorry if I'm late," I finally said while taking a seat at the rounded table. "I slept in."
"What time did you go to sleep?" Anna asked as a waiter suddenly laid a plate of eggs, sausage, and pancakes right in front of me.
Referring to Anna's question, Anthony and I didn't get back until around four in the morning. We spent all night talking, and running around the island like a couple of five year olds. It felt so good to be happy again, so damn good.
"Um... Melody?"
I snapped out of my flashback from last night and noticed that I had been smiling into space for the last couple of seconds.
"I went to bed pretty early," I quickly shoved a fork full of eggs in my mouth. "I guess I'm not used to the time here."
"It's fine," Kristoff said after chugging down the last of his orange juice. "We're just glad to have you here."
Anna nodded and kissed him on the cheek.
"I'm glad to be here."
Kristoff smiled and stood from the table, fixing his dark blue beanie.
"Well, I'm off to work. I'll see you later, honey. Melody."
"You work?" I couldn't help but ask. "Aren't you like... a prince?"
"Yes I am," He chuckled. "But my specialty with ice is too much to not help the people down at the ice shack."
I pretended like I knew what he was talking about with a nod as he slowly left the table. Anna blew him a kiss and turned back towards me.
"Hey, I just wanted to say that you shouldn't be scared because of the whole thing with the note."
"Don't worry," I smiled. "I'm not, at all. I haven't even been thinking about it, actually."
