It had been a long day of just sitting, eating and talking about potential strategies to win the games. "What are you doing?" Devis grumbled from behind me and i jumped up in surprise as his darkened figure strolled towards me barley visible.
"I just wanted to go for a walk" I whisper and I looked up at him with wide eyes. Suddenly he let out a chuckle and I was taken aback
"Oh yeah? Without a mentor? You think that's going to go well? You think they're not going to punish you for trying to leave?" he asks and I do nothing but stay frozen in place. There was no use in responding to him. Whatever I was going to say would have no affect on him and it was clear he already thought some way about me so I shook my head before turning back towards my room and shutting the door behind me "Yeah goodnight to you too." I hear Devis mutter from behind my door and when I was sure I heard his own bedroom door shut I let my body slump to the floor and I hugged my knees to my chest
