Losing someone dear to your heart
Is breaking it, no, is tearing it apart
Life without that someone
Can feel lonesome and scary
On the anniversary of their death
The air might feel strange and weary
Remembering them, keeping their hearts close by
Is all we can do to cope and survive
We miss them and that's allright
For in our hearts that special someone's still alive
