Reborn a witch

I spent the night of the founders comforting Caroline, I tried to tell her about the supernatural but she told me she wasn't ready. So I gave her a piece of vervain jewellery after 'compelling' her to forget what had happened between her and Damon, other then the fact that they had dated and suddenly broke up when they realised that their relationship wasn't going anywhere. 

That was four days ago and Caroline was back to her bubbly self. Furniture had been added to the new house and the last things to do were add some final touches, fill the fridge and cupboards and move out of my parents. I had also spoken to Liz yesterday and she said that Claire had no next of Kin or any form of family left. Meaning I would be getting a visit with child services soon enough to see if I was eligible to fully adopt her. After finding that out I spoke to my parents and they were partially relieved. They both felt as if they were too old to give full care to a young child, at least as grandparents they would be involved part time. 

I hadn't told Claire yet since I wasn't sure how she was going to react but I had a feeling her intuition kicked in and that she already knows. Since she had been acting a lot happier and had almost called me Mom on at least 10 different occasions.

I took the day off from school yesterday to get the last of the new house sorted out and finish up any paper work or bills that needed handling. I also checked the stock market like I did every morning and night. I even went into town and set up a bank account for Claire so she would  have money to spend once she was old enough.

Today however was the Sexy suds carwash and I had been roped to join  in by Caroline. Claire was going to spend the day with Jenna, who was currently spending time with Logan, so I didn't have to worry about looking after her at the same time.

I pulled my hair up into a bun so it wasn't in the way and wore a turquoise bikini top with denim shorts and a white lace kimono over the top. I paired it all with a pair of white sunglasses and a pair of white sandals that I didn't care about loosing or ruining. I sling my bag over my shoulder and make sure my phone is in side before grabbing my keys and driving to school.

 I get there I leave my Kimono and bag in the car and I place my car key around my neck on a chain and put my phone in a waterproof casing and put it in my back pocket. I walk over to Care after looking the car and ignore the wolf whistles I gain from a few of the male population. 

Due to constantly working out I was toned and my skin had a natural tan. The bikini only enhanced that. I had also been blessed with the curves from my old life. Something I thanked balance for. I join Care-bear at the desk she had set up. "So, Sexy enough?" I ask her as I do a little twirl. 

"Very. At least someone listened to me. I need you over with Bonnie." She claps happily and points over to bonbon

"Sure thing." I go over to Bonnie and give her a quick hug. "Hi bon-bon, you look great"

"Thanks, you look Hot. It's so not fair." I laugh at her words as I tuck a few strands back into my hair tie "How are you feeling? Anything unexplainable happen recently?" I knew at the brief moments that she wasn't with Claire and I at the Founders party that she had managed to light candles with her magic. It seemed fire was the element she connected with the most. 

She gives me an uncomfortable look as she does back to washing the hood of the car. "Maybe, But can we talk about it later when I know no one else is listening."

"Of course Bon bon." I grab a sponge and help her clean the car before we rinse it off and dry it before moving onto the next. Matt joins in the help this time and when I see him pining over Elena I quickly spray him with the hose before pretending that I didn't do anything.
