The fall

17 1 1

a tear rolls down my cheek

and oh how I crave to not feel this

i know what i have to do

and logic says it should be easy

but i feel a kindle of regret

burning deep somewhere in my chest

                               telling me

to jump would leave so much behind

to jump would break you

to jump is easily

but the lie is not

this life is more convoluted than death

and I am not a simple man

so with your eyes fixed on me

i jump

breaking both of our hearts

breaking both of our hearts
