watching you mourn for me
the coffin filled with empty promises and words never said
and you will never know how much it hurt to watch you cry over something you never truly lost
because my dear
i was always there
watching from afar
and you were a ghost forever in my heart
as your life went on without me
as you fell in love without me
as 221b sat empty
our ghost endlessly dancing to a rhythm that once was ours
and how lucky my ghost then
to stay frozen in those moments
because i fear as human
i will have lost you to the ever march of time
you fold me neatly in your past
evermore a ghost to to you
whether i'm dead or alive
