First Semester Break

"Hey, Y/N, I just want to find out... are you and Pyrrha actually a thing?" Jaune asked you on the way back from dropping Pyrrha off at her class.

"Well, we've had one date, but we haven't exactly made it official yet. Why do you ask? Also, aren't you supposed to be in class too?" You replied nonchalantly.

"Actually, I was just on my way. The rest of my team and I will be there in five minutes." He said confidently.

"Only one date, yet you've been seeing each other since the beginning of the year!?" Nora asked with wide eyes, seeming stricken by this revelation.

"Hey! Things have been rough this past year so far. Particularly for me! Besides, it's only been a few months, the dance is only at the beginning of the next semester." You replied seriously.

"How so? Enlighten me." She replied light-heartedly.

"The fact that I've been in the infirmary with a concussion from getting the crap kicked out of me, drove myself to literal insanity during multiple sparring fights, found out my entire life up until the beginning of this year has been a lie, broke up with Ruby in the beginning of the year after three years, and, oh yeah, I almost killed Ruby with my semblance on accident, and I got totally dropped by Blake recently after she came running to me for a chance to date me too. I've been trying to organize another date amongst this chaos for the past two months. How's your year been?" You replied in your defense.

"Geez, I totally get it now! That's pretty rough, not gonna lie." Nora replied with a nervous giggle. "Wait, you're screwing around behind Pyrrha's back!?" She added, but you ignored that since you and Pyrrha both know the truth.

"Anyway, after hearing that you're organizing a second date with Pyrrha, forget I brought it up." Jaune replied nervously, not bringing up the second part because Pyrrha already explained the whole thing to him and told him not to freak out, brushing it off as Nora being a clutz.

"I'm guessing you've also got feelings for her?" You asked curiously.

"Well, not exactly, I just wanted to find out if she has anybody in mind for the dance, but considering you're with her, but not, I'm guessing you're in line to take her to the dance?" He asked, again nervously.

"You trying to make a move on my girl?" You asked sternly, but the smile is starting to crack through.

"No! It's not like that!" He yelped in defense.

"I'm kidding. I've known you since the beginning of the year, and I know that there's no way you'd actually pull that move knowing what you know, but I'll tell you what, I'll allow one dance if she wants." You said with a smirk, patting him on the shoulder and getting a good laugh out of everyone but him.

"Don't scare me like that, I genuinely thought I was about to get beat up..." He replied with a nervous chuckle.

"Hey, I'm not like Cardin and his thugs, promise. You can have the courtesy of one dance because we're friends and I trust you." You said nonchalantly.

"Great, thanks." He said with a sigh of relief as you hastily exited while dismissing yourself.

"You still didn't answer my question!" Nora called out, but it's already too late.

"Nora..." Jaune said nonchalantly.

"Yes, Jaune?" She replied nervously.

"Pyrrha already knows, and was actually the one who proposed 'sharing' him with Blake." He replied casually as you shut the door behind you.

You went back to your dorm to catch up on some work and freshen up, and before you knew it, the second date came around and you're pretty nervous about it, as you want it to work out.
You walked to her dorm and knocked on the door. Pyrrha already opened up wearing a brass-colored dress with her amulet and red high heels.
