Hey guys, please read this authors note! I know I've been away for a long time, the reason why is in my YouTube Updates "story", so head over there and check out the latest "chapter" in the YT Updates, and you'll get all the answers. With that out of the way, enjoy this chapter!

Five more days have gone by, and you've officially been given permission to ditch the brace and have had the pins removed, and now have to learn how to use your leg again due to minor nerve damage which was only picked up after the pins were removed, luckily the doctors managed to fix this with a three-hour operation and using new and advanced medical procedures, you're capable of walking again from that same day albeit with some difficulty. You've been given a basic walking routine, consisting of walking a maximum of one kilometer per day for the first week, and walking with assistance if you're going to walk further than that in a single day, so you decided to head to the cafeteria to get some food before planning your day.

"Hey, Blake!" You said with enthusiasm.

"Hi. I see you're walking again, that's great. Shall we schedule the date for two days' time?" She asked curiously.

"We can, if you don't mind helping me walk, that is. Doctor's orders. To give you a summary, I can walk on my own, but if I walk beyond one kilometer in a day then I'll need support to keep myself from putting more strain on my leg than it can handle. It's a slow process." You said confidently.

"That won't be a problem." She replied confidently.

"Then it's a date?" You asked with a confident smirk.

"It's a date." She said with a smile. "Will you be going to the dance?" She asked again, looking at you with a smile in her eyes - something you haven't seen from her in a while, if ever. It's actually refreshing.

"I've thought about it, but I still don't know... even if my leg does heal fully before then, I'm not much of a dancer." You said cautiously.

"Well, if you decide to come, I've only got one saved dance, so I'll be by your side the majority of the night if you want? That way you won't be the chopped liver on the side. If not, then I'll probably head back to the dorms early." She suggested with a smirk.

"Sounds great. I'll consider it." You replied casually.

"Awesome! Then I'll see you around, I've got things I need to get done." She said before walking off.

You finally made it to the cafeteria, and helped yourself to a salad and some beef.

"Hey, Y/N!" Yang said confidently, entering the cafeteria with Ruby and Pyrrha.

"Hey, ladies. What can I do for you?" You asked nonchalantly.

"Nothing really, I just wanted to know if you've got any plans for today?" Pyrrha asked casually.

"I don't have anything going at the moment. I'll probably just hang out in my dorm." You said casually.

"Well, I could use some help with an assignment due in two weeks, if you don't mind helping out?" Pyrrha asked curiously.

"Sure thing. What do you need help with?" You replied as she approached and sat down to discuss it over food.

"It's the coriolis effect. I'm struggling with the calculations behind it. I'm pretty good with the practical thing, but calculations aren't my strong suite... especially when it comes to calculating dropoff and windage in such complex calculations..." She said with a hopeless sigh.

"Sure. I can help you out. It's not that hard." You said casually.

"You're my hero!" She said with a smile.
