It's been a week, the semester break is here and you're somewhat mobile again, albeit in crutches. Ozpin just then stopped by.
"Hello, Y/N. How is your recovery going?" He asked confidently.
"Hey, dad. It's going well, I'm just so tired of lying in bed and resting when I could be studying. There's no way I'll be up among the best if I'm here all the time." You replied, trying to keep things from getting awkward.
"I understand that, but sometimes things happen. I'm sorry for not being able to check up more often, as you can imagine, I've been increidbly busy." He replied seriously.
"I understand. I'm just glad you came around." You said, trying to make an effort to bond with him despite it being awkward, since he is your father and your headmaster.
"What are your plans for the holiday?" He asked casually. "If you have any." He added nonchalantly.
"I'm planning to meet up with Blake sometime if she has the time." You said confidently.
"So you're seeing her on the side? Despite being with Pyrrha?" He asked sternly.
"It's not so much that I'm seeing her on the side. Let's just say Pyrrha organized some kind of three-way relationship." You said with a sigh.
"That's quite unexpected coming from her." He replied, seeming intrigued at her unexpected side.
"I thought the same thing the first time she brought that up." You said, standing up with the help of your crutches.
"Well, I've got to get back to work. I just thought I'd check and see how you're doing." He replied with a smile.
"Thanks. I appreciate the thought." You said with a smirk.
After several minutes, you made it to the cafeteria to have breakfast, finding all of your friends - and your new girlfriend - at the same table as usual.
Taking a seat next to your team, Pyrrha stopped you."Where do you think you're sitting? I've saved you a spot." She asked with a smirk.
"Right." You said, moving over and sitting next to her, who is on the end to the left of Ren.
"That reminds me, we're official." You said, announcing it to the two teams.
"I'm so happy for you all!" Nora said enthusiastically, while the rest applauded your new relationship status.
"Congrats guys!" Yang said enthusiastically.
Ruby seems a little upset over it, but masked that with her happiness for you managing to move on. She was the one who left you, after all.
"How's your leg feeling?" Pyrrha asked as you continued to eat some chicken mate.
"It's so itchy, but it won't be long before the cast is off. I found a trick to heal myself faster." You said confidently.
"What's the trick?" Everyone asked curiously.
"I'm using my light semblance to heal myself on top of my aura. After the incident, I realized that my semblance was the only thing holding my joint, muscles, and ligaments in place, so I figured I'd try using a similar thing to permanently heal myself, and it seems to be working. I'm going to head back to the doctor tomorrow and see what they have to say about it." You replied confidently.
"That's pretty cool, just don't overdo yourself." Pyrrha said sternly. "We don't want you going back to the hospital because you did something wrong and injured yourself further." She added with a smile.
"Absolutely not. I can't stand hospitals in any case. They give me the creeps, especially those long, seemingly endless hallways." You said with a chuckle.
