Thanks to everyone that has been showing love and support... love you loads 💕💕💕

Kaavia

" Hi Rose darling"

I greet Rose, the receptionist at the fashion house.

Today I resume work and I got here super early.

I still haven't figured out how I was going to tell Mrs kings about the loan.

I was so nervous I didn't even know if I could pull this off .

" Is the boss in?"  I ask giving her a cup of coffee

I get us both coffee on my way to work.

" Thanks darling and no she isn't here yet , she called in late so she might take a while"

" Oh really, ok I'll just go make sure her office is set"

I leave the reception and head to her office.

My job as her messanger is to ensure  that her office is well organized, I receive calls on her behalf, get her breakfast, deliver clothes to personal customers and run errands.

You would think that with all I do, I get paid well but no. Even Cherry that just seats on her desk and read documents gets paid twice what I get. But who am I to complain? I am just the girl with no degree.

I get to her office and it was so dusty and dirty well,  she as been absent for about 3 weeks so this was expected.

"My life sucks" I sighed as I looked at the work before me.

2 hours later…

Mrs kings showed up eventually looking like a bag of money.

Extra was a norm for her, she dresses to kill for a living.

She appeared in a one piece grey suit and an overall white jacket, finishing it with a white heel and a chocker.

Walking in elegantly like the floor was made for her,

I approached her and too her white sack bag from her

"Welcome Mrs kings, how was your trip to France?"

I asked as we walked directly to her office hearing some greetings here and there.

"Oh darling it was superb, I was literally on the spotlight"

She said looking dreamily like she was reliving the moment.

"New designers are planning on working with us, remind me to send gifts to few of them, and oh yess! We signed a deal over there with Adidas, isn't that wonderful? But don't get to excited cause that calls for more work you know? Oh I'm also having lunch with my parents tommorow, please set a reminder"

She kept saying as I struggled to keep up and scribble words on my notes.

I tried to keep at her pace but her long legs and energetic slim body wasn't helping in any way.

" Oh my goodness, Kaavia you are too slow, you need to work on your body I keep telling you this"

I knew this was going to come up, she is always on my case with my body size saying it's not the rightful size for a proper lady.

I just feel it is common for people in her profession, they have created a permanent picture of how ladies are to be.

That's why you rarely see mannequins that are plus sized or medium sized, they are always slim and tall, people don't see it but that's the major definition of body shaming.
