Chapter:23 (I'll edit later...or nah)

~Shay's P.O.V~

"No! The answer is still no! I have to completely renovate most of the rooms,assign people to clean outside and inside, and on top of that figure out how the rouges got in." I could tell Chase was stressed but it would literally take 10 minutes to send out 10 guys to look for the girl.

"What the fuck Chase? What if that was our kid? If I even decide to have a kid with you I don't know if I could trust you to protect it!" I screamed at him.

"Take your ass upstairs and to our room before I have someone escort you." his jaw was clenched as tight as ever and his knuckles white as he fisted his hands.

"You are sick! This! This right here! Is exactly the reason I never wanted my mate,must less a sorry Alpha!" I seethed before I stormed out of the room.

People were crowded around the door when I swung it open,all wide eyes and horrified.

"Oh!" I screamed, "Shouldn't you kiss asses be cleaning and renovating?" I snapped sarcastically.

They quickly scampered away and the halls were clear,the faint smell of blood made my skin crawl.

I wasn't even thinking but the next thing I knew I was running. I didn't have a destination in mind I was to pissed off to function.

I ran and ran and ran. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't even see,everything was a blur. I was in the middle of no mans land.

I sat down in an empty patch of a field that was filled with white and purple flowers (Twilight bitch). Strangely enough I had seen this somewhere,like a dream. I knew I had never ran out this far leaving pack lands was forbidden unless permitted by the Alpha in my old pack.

The soft scent of another wolf still lingered in the air,even in the peaceful sun and cool calming wind I was tense and on high alert.

"Help!"

It was so distant and quite I thought I was imagining it.

I stood quietly and followed the sound. There were deep,raspy voices and soft,quite whimpers.

And there between to two men stood Hope.

Hope looked absolutely horrified and I was determined to get her back home alive and unharmed.

I was already planning ways to take out the men. One was tall and muscular while the other was thin and scrawny. I decided that if I took out chubby first scrawny wouldn't have a chance. There was no way in hell I could take them both and I was completely relaying on the strategy of ambush otherwise I was screwed.

There was almost like a drop off,it was a steep slope with ledge like rocks that stuck out. It was pure dirt and obviously slick. It was to much of a risk to try and leap and miss the man and fuck everything up.

In the time I stood searching another man had begun to approach and I new now that it was to late. Either I create a distraction and let Hope run or leave her.

And you bet your ass I did not plan on leaving her!

So Imma update every 7 days bc that makes sense (not really)
