The Alpha's Mate

Chapter:11

-Shay's P.O.V-

After a brief tour of the pack house Alex and I went to her room. She closed the door and I sat down on the edge of her bed.

"What's it like to have a mate?" she gushed.

"Well," I paused, "It's great except for the fact that you can't hang out with guys and you have to leave your family and friends to live with a dick. Not only that, but it's a possibility that his wolf will take over and snap your wrist."

Alex's face fell,her mouth hung open.

"But you might get lucky and have a mate that doesn't suck ass." I declared.

"He-Chase di-did that to you?" she whispered.

"Yep." I popped the "p" and leaned back to lay on her bed.

"I'm so sorry."

"It's fine,but do you think you could help me." I asked quietly leaning close to her.

She nodded eagerly.

"I need you to help me sneak out just for a few hours." I begged.

"I don't know." she whispered hesitantly.

"I'll take the blame if we get caught. Just keep that door locked and tell Chase I hate him." I smiled as I walked over to the window.

"Promise you'll come back." she pleaded.

Why? I thought.

"I don't have a lot of friends here. Most of the girls have slept with Chase and look at me like a toy." She said answering my question like she read my mind.

I faltered for a second,well Chase is a dick and whore,just great.

I smiled, "I promise."

She smiled before I climbed out her window and darted through the woods.
