Seyoung buckled her shoes, a slice of bread in her mouth while her backpack sloppily hung over her shoulders. She struggled as she unlocked the door and rushed out, struggling to lock the door again.

She gobbled down the slice and ran as fast as she could. She didn't want to be late. It hurt her pride. Showing up to school late. Well, too late to say so. She was already late. Later than a late person could ever be. Later, she'd regret oversleeping.

She entered the school grounds, still running, losing breath, being late. The entrance was deserted and literally no one was there. Seyoung started sweating now, realizing that she was very very terribly late.

She rushed to the teacher's office since she had to get a late pass for stepping inside the school grounds after the bell had rang. Well, of course, people barely bother these days. But Seyoung was just created differently. She was a so called 'good girl'. Which no one was against, because hey! You can't get mad at her for doing what was expected of her.

She stepped inside the office with her hair messy and her bag hanging low beside her knees. She pulled it up and blowed her hair off her face, her eyebrows raising as she looked at the boy in front of her. He widened his eyes in awe and looked away, slightly blushing. She chuckled, "I guess you recognize me."

"Very much, yes." He said, before she could finish asking her question. "I had seen you and your brother on billboards. Not that I wanted to mention him. I am sorry." He apologized quite quickly to Seyoung's satisfaction.

"And who might you be?" The lass asked as she slightly leaned over to tease the kid, who seemed to be quite younger than her.

"Lim Juyoung." He said, leaning farther away. He shook his bangs away from his face and Seyoung thought that he was a rather adorable person. "Nice to meet you," he said, reaching his hands out. He had a hint of brotherly mischief spread across his face.

"Nice to meet you, I'm-"

"Jung Seyoung. What are you doing here?" A female teacher asked, as she sat before the boy. She flashed Seyoung a little smile, with zero hint of sympathy. Seyoung liked it now. People finally started to realize that she didn't need pity but emotional support.

Seyoung smiled back at her. "I'm here to grab a late pass."

"I can tell. You need to brush your hair. But what are you doing with Mr. Lim here?" She asked, specifically. "Meeting a fanboy is it?"

"A fanboy?", Seyoung asked, quite curiously eyeing the boy.

"What? No!" He said, clearing his throat, being too proud and prickly for his own good. "I was just talking to a fellow schoolmate."

"Well, we are friends now. Am I not right, Juyoung?" Seyoung said, testing the boys guts. The heat in his body rose up to his ears and he laughed softly. "Yes." He squeaked the words and tapped Seyoung on the back.

"That's glad to hear. Well, Seyoung, you should get your pass from Mr. Han and get going." The lady spoke, receiving a nod from Seyoung.

She walked up to Mr. Han who was talking to another student. Another new student? That's great. She thought, quite sarcastically. The last thing she wanted is another person to recognize her and be all awkward around her, apologizing a hundred times about her brother. She looked at Han who sent her a look that said 'wait'. She nodded and leaned on the table when she saw the girl and Juyoung face each other.

She stood up straight and adjusted her blazer while quietly watching the two. They exchanged some rather weird expressions and mouth movements. She slowly came to realization that the two were siblings and the girl was older. Well, that.... was obvious, considering how she was taller and Mr. Han was her teacher.

She looked at Seyoung for a second and widened her eyes. Seyoung smiled at her and before the girl could continue with her questions, Han interrupted the girl. Why thank you, Sir. Seyoung thought.

"It's not far from where you live. But you're still adapting right?" He asked, being the nice teacher he always is.
Seyoung always adored Mr. Han. He was the only fatherly figure for her ever since her father passed and her grandfather never came back home from work. He was always there for her and Seyeon when they needed help.

"I lived here until I was 10 years old. So I'm okay." The girl said, as he responded with a statement of relief. He pulled out a piece of paper and signed on it before handing it in to Seyoung.

"After school cleaning for being late." He said as she pulled the slip of paper from his hand with a pout.

"Can you not let me go this once, teach?" She asked, whining like a ten year old. He smiled at her and shook his head slowly.

"Nope!"

"Come on! I'm your favorite am I not?"

"Seyoung! You shouldn't say things like that. All my students are very close to my heart. I love you all unconditionally and I do not keep favorites."

Seyoung was close to barfing after listening to his tone. She rolled her eyes while smiling. "I'd rather clean up, sir."

"That's better. Seyoung, meet Jukyung. Our transfer student."

Seyoung waved at her, smiling, her eyes turning into small crescents. The girl smiled meekly before waving back to her. Seyoung waved at Mr. Han and gave him a high five before walking out of the room, hands in her pockets heading to her classroom stuck in thought.

She spoke out loud, her mind lost in thought, "Have I seen her before?" She was sure that the face was familiar. She never forgot a face. But she couldn't recognize her. Her brain hurt. But she was sure that she would, one way or another, find out who she was.
