Ha, ha ha...I'm back....

To be honest, I kind of abandoned this, didn't I? Sorry...

5 days remaining

The next day, the tension in the air was high, but neither Harry nor Ron acted upon it. With less than a week left they both were acting as if they could pretend it away. Ron kept playing games and eating while ignoring Harry.

Harry was on his phone all the time with Hermione or Neville. Sometimes Lunas' voice was heard as well. He never once talked to Ron. Only to ask if he wanted something to eat or other trivial matters that could be answered in a single word or so.

Only Hermione picked up on. It was around four in the afternoon and Harry was talking to her and was asking about how her day was. Which Hermione found strange the moment the words left his mouth because he never calls about that. That's something you call and ask a friend you've had maybe for a month or close to a year. That's not something you call and ask your best friend who found you laying in the bathtub crying the first time you watched Titanic with your now Ex-girlfriend, Or the person who walked in on you having a mental breakdown about how sad dinosaurs were after drinking yourself half to death the night you found out Slytherin won the house cup and the Quidditch cup all in the same year.

Malfoy called to brag about that one.

"Harry, why aren't you and Ron talking to each other?" Hermione finally asked, cutting Harry off from talking about how weird the lighting was in the hotel room.

"What are you on about Hermione?" Harry asked annoyed, "We have been."

"No your not," Hermione replied instantly, "You're calling me wondering how my day went."

"I'm your best friend!" Harry huffed. He called Hermione tons to ask how her day went, he thinks so at least. "I call you and ask that all the time!"

"Harry, you never call and ask me about how my day went," Hermione told him with slight amusement and a tad bit of resentment in her voice.

Harry thought for a moment. He remembers asking her how her day went plenty of times, though now if he remembers certain events more clearly he also remembers asking her for favours and asking if she'd heard something from someone. Though he does know he calls and invites her out places and will just call her up and talk randomly about something from time to time.
But no, he never does call and ask about her day.

"Why are you such a bitch," Harry sighed, "Couldn't you of just–I don't know–agreed to disagreed on it with me."

Hermione sighed and Harry knew she rolled her eyes over the phone at him.

"Harry, what's going on with you and Ron?" She asked again, with more bark in her voice now though.

Harry was quiet for a moment, "We are fine. Nothing happened. We're not fighting."

Hermione was silent on the other line. Then she sighed and spoke, "You're both unbelievable. I can't believe you guys survived without me when you're so bad at lying. I don't even have to see your face to know your lying to me."

"I'm not lying!"

"Harry, I can tell you are."
