Later Alex became missing which led Morax and the adepti to search for him but there was no sign. Morax became hellbent in which he search all over Liyue until he gave up knowing that he lost not one but two, he failed her.
Meanwhile at Snezhnaya Alex was kidnapped by the Fatui which they found him of the outside radius of Minlin. Alex was then brainwashed which they know that he was a adepti in which they decided to take advantage of and used him as their pawn.
10 years later as Alex was brainwash he comes to know others in the Fatui one of which is Ajax with two other names, Scaramouche but doesn't exactly know much more about him.
Alex was made as an Harbinger's Pathfinder, codename Monarch. As their main scout to in which have Alex to map out undiscovered locations throughout 6 nations of Teyvat as he travels there as ordered to. Alex was given a Geo vision since just after his brainwash when he turned 7 years old which was from Liyue's design. unknown that he doesn't know why of but not from the Tsaritsa?

As the time has arrived the Tsaritsa summoned her Harbingers and Alex for a meeting to advance forward her plans of getting all the 6 archon gnosis. In which made Alex question her motives in his thoughts.
Later Alex gone through the archives to learn more about the gnosis, but he comes across classified documents that made him shocked.
He learned he was from Liyue and was adepti born. He then learned more of himself being brainwashed which infuriated him of the Fatui turning him as their slave. Alex then have a flood of memories that came to him that were robbed from and now know that the Fatui will do anything at all cost for obtaining the gnosis one of which his father's.
Alex then decided to warn all 6 nations of the Fatui's plot starting with Liyue but before he goes there he decides to sabotage some of the Fatui's efforts before they set out to their missions.
Alex caused an explosion at their HQ and ran while being hunted down by them, Alex was led to a dead end of a cliff which he was surrounded by 3 Fatui Harbingers and their soldiers.

Alex: Never! I won't be your slave for everything that you took from me!
Alex turned to the cliff and was about to jump but was then shot as he was falling into the sea.
The one who shot Alex was revealed to be Dottore.
