Since after Osial's defeat, Alex decided to earn some income due to his father using up all of his mora so he took a job at his father's workplace The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.
Alex helped give better ideas than Hu Tao's as he provided some wood for coffins, doing paperwork and giving better services for customers on specific locations that they may wanted for their passed love ones wishes to be bury there.

Also Alex help with His father to keep their boss in line in case she goes wild on marketing ideas and pranking coworkers or other people.

Alex grew a ponytail due to he's in his new life of being as a son to Zhongli. which Alex positioned his hair in front of his right Shoulder then he changed the colors of his coat to match the scheme of his father's, to resembles himself just a bit.

Now Alex is on break from work, now he's wandering the Lisha region with Lumine and Paimon as they saw a young boy near a out of commissioned Ruin Guard.

Alex: Wait is that Teucer!?

The boy then turns around to the sound of the voice, in which he recognizes Alex.

Teucer: Uncle Alex! What are doing here?

Alex: I was about to say the same thing, what made you came all the way here from Snezhnaya?

Paimon: Uncle? what, Alex who is this kid that you know?

Alex: Long story, I know Teucer by (Whispers) Childe when he introduced me to his family since I think when I was 12.

Lumine/Paimon: Hello Teucer.

Alex: I should take you to your brother so he could figure out of bringing you home.

Alex: No, no keep it. It's nice to give it to someone you that you find nice, but I don't think it's how it's work with different people.

The four head to Liyue Harbor which they entered Northland Bank to find Childe done speaking to a Fatui coworker as she leaves. Teucer then ran to surprise his brother.

Childe: That voice... Why, if it isn't my little brother. Teucer! My goodness!

Childe was surprised of seeing his little brother and questioned him of how's their family is and how he got to Liyue. Which Teucer explains to Childe he found a boat and board it later he found Mr. Cyclops then met Alex, Lumine and Paimon.

Childe lectures Teucer for what he did and asks Alex and Lumine a favor.

Childe: Look I know we're enemies before but please help me out by watching over Teucer for me please, I don't want Teucer to know that I serve the Tsaritsa since the rest of my family knows.

Also he's so innocent and not to know of the dark truth, but you have Alex here since he knows Teucer so it'll be alright.

The three took Teucer to many places around the city until He wants to see his brother.

The four went to where Childe handled the debt collection with some mercs and was told to make a speech for new recruits, which Teucer ran off to followed his brother having the three to catch up.

While Childe was surprised that his brother followed him seeing him and girls waving at him, Alex was shrugging his shoulders and points at Teucer signaling to Childe that it was his idea.

Later Childe was done improvising his way out of his situation, he brought the four to an old factory as one last trip for Teucer to enjoy. Which the factory is actually a research facility for Ruin Guard and was Used by Dottore.

Alex: Dottore... that bastard is going to pay for brainwashing me and taking away my lively hood.

Childe: Since I was added as a new addition of the Harbingers you hold hatred for them, do you hate me as well?

Alex: No just the ones that been there the longest, and I'm stopping all of them even you but I can't tell what side you exactly belong to?

The five went inside which Teucer ran off ahead which the four had to go after him before he gets himself hurt.

Alex: Seriously Ajax! Why did you bring him here in this place!?

Childe: He admires Ruin Guards that he sees them as Mr. Cyclops.

Alex: Well what a way of being a good older brother!

The four managed to reunite with Teucer as Childe decides to have hide and seek with Teucer, while he take on Ruin Guards that activated by himself.
As Childe down the last as he sees more then Teucer was almost done with his countdown with hide and seat, but Childe tells Teucer he needs more time.

Teucer agrees and Childe gets to work as he transforms into the foul legacy destroying every Ruin Guard, Teucer was finished counting as he see dead Ruin guards being amazed of so many.

Alex, Lumine and Paimon found Childe being worn out from using the foul legacy to much and still haven't recovered from his wounds.

Alex: Is this power even worth it more than the delusions that drains your life?

Childe: You know I been thinking of that myself, but for what I see of using these powers are to protect my family even if it would kill me by doing this kind of work.

Alex: I understand for what I remembered of meeting your family, your father said something that is family is everything.

Childe: Ah I remember that ever since he went ill, family is something you want to Cherish and not fear of losing, but it's what makes us keep fighting for am I right?

Alex agrees with him while Lumine looked sadden as she took Childe's word into consideration and remembers Alex being happy with his father, as she too wish to be reunited with her brother.

After they left the facility the five returned to Liyue Harbor and Teucer was sent back home with a gift from his brother. Childe was then surprised of what Alex offered to him with his pinky.

Alex: Pinky promise for hold sakes buddy?

Childe: I pinky promise buddy and you look just like your father Zhongli.

Alex: I thought you might've noticed anyways till we battle again.

Childe: Till we battle again. and meet in Snezhnaya, my family would like to see you again also you two as well.

Lumine/Paimon: Alright we will Bye.

Alex, Lumine and Paimon head of to leave Liyue and back to Mondstadt.
