Alex, Lumine, Paimon head to Liyue as they met a traveling chef named Xaingling along the way as she was heading home too, They came and stop at Wangshu Inn for a quick rest. Then finally reached Lyiue harbor for the Rite of Descension.

Xaingling parted ways with them as she headed to her home restaurant.

Alex: I'll be walking around the streets I'm going to find someone in the Qixing since we got here, You two go on ahead to the Rite of Descension.

Lumine/Paimon: Alright.

While Lumine and Paimon head to the Rite of Descension, Alex was looking for a higher ranked member of the Qixing to tell about the Fatui's plot. Until there was a loud Thump happened at top of the Yunjing Terrance.

Minutes later the whole harbor was in high alert, Of guards patrolling the streets to every district. Alex then question a Millelith guard.

Alex: What happened why is the whole harbor in high alert?

Millelith Guard: You haven't heard Rex Lapis has been killed.

Alex eyes were shocked of hearing what the guard said, which he couldn't believe it.

Alex snapped out of thought when he heard a voice and sees that it was Lumine and Paimon hiding in a corner.

Alex: What happened up there? Is it true that he's dead?

Lumine: Yes it's true, now we need to head to Jueyun Karst where we can seek the Adepti to ask for their help and tell them what happen.

Alex: With what! we have no Sigl of Permission!?

Paimon: Well we have one, from Childe he gave us it.

Alex: Childe? Childe!? Tartaglia! He's here, why did you spoke with him he's the enemy!

Paimon: But he'd helped up escape from the Millelith and he asked his reason of helping us with figuring out who killed Rex Lapis.

Alex: We came here to seek the Adepti for help and we brought proof of permission with us.

Lumine showed the Adepti of the Sigil on her hand.

As they were about to speak two Millelith Guard showed up.

Millelith Sergeant: It the assassin! and she brought someone with her as an accomplice, which they dared flee to Jueyun Karst!

The Millelith Sergeant's second in command implore his sergeant of not having to fight the three which they stepped to far into Jueyun Karst, That the sergeant didn't choose to listen which he's focused on wanting to apprehend Lumine, Alex and Paimon in.

Given that the Alex and Lumine have to fight, Moon Carver grant the two adeptal energy for them to wield against the Millelith.

Alex and Lumine unleashed their geo powers at the Millelith between wave after wave, which consists of Millelith being thrown off or blown up by Alex's Javelin and Lumine's Starfall Boulders also with her quaking stomp.

Once the Millelith gave up and retreated, the three told Moon Carver what happened to Morax. Which made Moon Carver furious of the news, he then asked the three to tell the two Adepti that are here on Jueyun Karst and one more at Wangshu Inn of the news which they did for the two Adepti.

The three reached to the balcony of Wangshu Inn which they meet Xiao, he wasn't interested in talking so he leaves.
Alex, Lumine and Paimon talked to the receptionist of the inn which she told them a way to have Xiao in a good mood is a dish of Almond Tofu, They then spoke with the chef which he couldn't make the dish due to of having a ghost haunting the kitchen.

Alex given he doesn't have the time to help deal with the ghost problem, he makes the almond tofu by himself while the inn can figure out their ghost problem themselves.

The three meet Xiao again but as he tries to leave Alex offered the Tofu to him.

Xiao: I'm surprised of the tofu tastes and you have a good culinary skill different from YanXiao.

Xiao's Mind: I sense adeptal energy within him, Wait could it be!? No it can't be him is it?

Paimon: Well enough of praising him we need to tell you of something.

The three tell Xiao everything of what happened to Morax, Which puts Xiao shocked. He could not image a Liyue without Morax.

Xiao head off to Jueyun Karst and the three head back to Lyiue Harbor to find that everything have quieted down, Alex stayed back as Lumine and Paimon talked with Childe while he'd watch from afar.
