3 weeks later
Mia's POV
Staying with Auntie for the past 3 weeks is really helpful. I got a job at the church and getting paid weekly. Now Auntie, Nikki and I are planning the gender reveal I couldn't wait to know what I was having and the same day we were going to do a baby shower.
Mia: These decorations are cute Nikki.
Nikki: Of course they are and you know I switched the color to purple instead of Pink.
Mia: You and this color purple.
Nikki: Look purple is much better than Pink.
Mia: I disagree
Nikki: Whatever.
Karen: So we're doing this 2 Saturdays from now right?.
Nikki: Yup.
Karen: And Mia we gotta find you a purple and dark blue dress at least.
Mia: Yeah we'll find one don't worry but this baby sitting on my bladder and I gotta go pee so I'll be back.
I got up and walked upstairs to the bathroom once I got there I got a text from Jaya.

Me: I haven't been feeling good but I'm going try to make it to church Sunday.

Me: I will I love you and get off your phone during school.

I chuckled and locked my phone.
I used the bathroom and washed my hands then
I heard a familiar voice down stairs.
I left the bathroom and walked downstairs to see mommy.
Mia: *says underneath my breath* if isn't the Rose of Gospel who kicked her daughter out of her house wanna be all friendly now
I said to myself and sat down.
Dorinda: what did you just say young lady?.
Mia: huh, nothing.
I said as I finished writing the last note of the list.
Dorinda: so how long you been staying with Karen living off her being a hoe?.
Nikki: Momma!.
Karen: Dorinda!.
They said to her while tears coming down on my face.
Mia: isn't that pot calling the kettle black aren't you the same who got pregnant at the same age as me, but you had opportunities of a lifetime a mother who is willing to watch your child while you go to work and school, mommy you need to evaluate yourself and realize that you are wrong but never once in my life I would called you a hoe somebody else has but I respect you so much, that I shut the shit down whenever they say my mom is hoe!.
