Jay's POV.
So it's seven months since me and jaya been talking and I've been thinking since day one about making it official so i called her sisters and mom and father to come over my house cause i want to get their blessings cause her family is important to her.
I sat down some sliders i made from scratch since I'm the main cook and jaya is at work and she won't get off until 9 pm.
It's now 3:30 which i got enough time to get set up so there was a knock at the door i seen Nikki and Mia and Mrs. Cole and i let them in and they followed me inside to the dining room where the food was at except Mia she had to use the bathroom which she already knew cause she been here before when jaya was over which i didn't mind.
Nikki: oooh this looks good." She said to me.
Dorinda: i know right, where's Mia?." She asked nikki.
Nikki: i have no idea, she was just behind you just a second ago."
Mia walks out of the bathroom wiping her hands on the paper towel and she looked up and seen her mother and sister looking at her.
Mia: what i do?.
Dorinda: where did you go ma'am?.
Mia: to the bathroom i forgot y'all never came over jaya invited me when he was out of town a few months ago.
Nikki: oh okay so where was i cause i don't remember that day.
Mia: you were sick, and jaya told you to get some rest.
Dorinda: oh okay well let's let the man of the house say why he called us over here.
Jay: um i was actually wanting all of jaya family where is Mr. Cole?." I asked them.
Dorinda: oh shoot he is outside on the phone hold on one second.
She said to us while shooting him a text.
Dorinda: Mia, when i hit you act like you're in pain.
Mia: i - ma'am say what- *gets cut off by her punching her* owwwwwwww." She yelled out.
Greg: is the baby on the way!!." He yelled out as he ran inside the house.
Dorinda: works everytime, now Greg come get off the phone and come listen to what this man has to say to us.
She told him and he mean mugged her and she told us don't worry about it and that she will make it up for the both of them.
Mia: so jay what is- is that chicken bacon ranch cheese sliders along with cheese bomb poppers and chilli cheese fries?.
Jay: yes Mia, and what i wanted to talk you all about is i want to officially make jaya my wife even though it's only been seven months but i can't see myself living one day without her, she is my peace, my harmony, my joy, she is everything i prayed for and i love her with all my heart i want to have you guys blessing to marry her.
Dorinda: we knew from day one when we met you that you were the one for jaya not cause of you are good looking young man we noticed that jaya is comfortable around you and she is much more free she lights up every time she see you with jazzlyn and i thank you for helping my babygirl to love herself while loving her it's a yes coming from me."
Greg: Son, as long as you promise not to hurt her like her past boyfriends did her ans promise you will provide for the family and love her, make her proud that she made the right decision by marrying you, with that being said you have my blessing as well make my daughter happy.
Jay: yes sir i will.
Nikki: you already know you are family so you have our blessing." She said while Mia is eating.
