there's something in the way you roll in your eyes

takes me back to a better time.

ej was the highlight of ricky's day. they both have given each other a chance to be friends, and to finally put out the fire in their so-called 'feud'.

it was something about the senior, that just made him want to crack a smile, or even made him (ricky) want to hug him (ej).

he was actually happy, that him and ej was able to put the past behind them and move on, to be better people. better friends.

“what? you asked miss jenn, could you what?” ricky giggled, as he and ej were in his bedroom.

“i asked her could she allow you to throw another basketball at my nose.”  ej said, almost bursting out laughing.

“why would you want her to allow me to do that?” ricky asked, shaking his head, grinning. “i mean i totally would again, but why?”

ej playfully rolled his eyes, before saying in a teasing voice. “oh please bowen, i could probably handle it better than last time.” he laughed.

“gotta hand it to you caswell, you're not as bad as i thought you were.” ricky smiled, playing with his calloused fingers.

ej cracked a chuckle. “well duh..” “but yeah no, you're not too bad yourself, bowen.” ej nudged ricky's shoulder.

as they both started laughing at their little interaction, ricky couldn't help but stare at the jock's glowy, greenish-blue eyes. it was something about those eyes, that made the skater wanna pop.

almost the thought of nini's eyes..

must be deja vu.. ricky thought.

both boys were enjoying each other's company for the past week, they've really been gaining progress with one another's trust.

they even shared a few hugs, cuddling, but nothing over those two interactions.

“sup ricky.” ej waved, walking up to the junior.

“hey ej, that's new..” ricky said in a confused tone, that was the first time the senior use his first name.

“what's new?,”

“you're using my first name, instead of my last name.”

ej let out a hard laugh, causing ricky to slap his shoulder. “s-sorr-y man.” ej said in between laughs.

“shut up dork, and let's not be late to class.” ricky laughed.

everything was definitely good between them.
