ej was that top notch guy, whom everyone wanted for themselves. but for ricky, he was just a normal guy he had a crush on. he wasn't a prize in ricky's eyes, but he sure damn was.

ricky have had this crush on ej for about 2 years now, going on 3. he just couldn't tell ej, how much he didn't wanna stay, but in his mind, he just kinda wish ej was gay...

and even though he was too frightened to admit that to ej, he was really actually afraid to admit it to himself. it's just everyday was the same thing, everytime he had tried talking or tried to interact with ej, all the senior did was look or walk away. it made him feel like total shit,

"don't worry, rick, he'll come around, i promise." nini said, rubbing the shaking boy's shoulder.

"how do you know that? i mean, he practically acts like i don't exist.. i just give u-" ricky ranted.

"hey! don't say that. what have me and big red always told you?" nini questioned.

ricky sighs, "if you don't try, you already lost.. but he's not some prize that you can just claim, nini,"

"i understand, ricky, but you can't just give up so easily, i'm sure if you give him some time to give in, he'll eventually come around."

ricky nodded slowly.

another day, another risky ass imagination. yesterday, after school, ricky went home and cried his heart out. why does these things never work out him?

he walked inside the doors of east high, walking down the halls with eyes inside of his, he just kept his eyes stuck on his shoes, and just kept letting his feet take him wherever. as he tipped to his locker, he spotted ej, two lockers away from his. but he overthought about what nini told him yesterday..

"i'm sure if you give him some time to give in, he'll eventually come around." nini's voice overplayed through his head and ears. he looked up and saw ej's eyes stuck on his, he blushed and quickly walked away, until he heard a voice...
