Sabrina had explained to you the way that mortals celebrated Halloween. You'd been fascinated. So much so that you'd gone with her to her school Halloween dance. Her friends had been a little nervous but when they realised you really were interested they each showed you what they liked about Hallwoeen.

You had plans to go trick or treating with Sabrina and her friends. But you wanted to stop by and see Nick first. You usually spend Halloween together. You'd pick a building to trick people into being haunted and then, when inevitably, humans would hurry to investigate on Halloween the two of you would chase them off.

"Nick!" You called as you spotted him sitting with a few warlocks having a drink. He muttered something to you and then glanced your way before leaving.

"So you're really abandoning me to go off and beg for sweets?" Nick asked. He didn't say anything about your costume. It had been handmade by Hilda Spellman. When she found out you were joining Sabrina for the holiday, she was delighted and insisted on making you a costume.

"Yes! Sabrina says that there will be free milkshakes at her aunt's shop too." You said with delight. He rolled his eyes at your excitement.

"Years of tradition thrown away for one night of free candy and milkshakes." Nick said, pretending to be hurt. He already had plans to hang out at Dorian's bar so it wasn't like he'd miss out. Plus he had a suspicion that he could trick you into sharing your candy.

"Yup. You're my first person that I'm trick or treating! So give me a treat or I'll trick you!" You said playfully.

"I don't have anything for you." Nick admitted and smiled when you gave him a devious look.

"No dice. I'm going to have to trick you." You said quickly and reached out. Nick watched your hand pull at his tie. It came unravelled and then lay limp around his neck.

"Such a dreadful trick." Nick said sarcastically.

"Good luck doing it up. It's not going to. Ever again!" You said and laughed as you hurried off. Nick laughed as he watched you and Sabrina meet at the door and head out. Fiddling with his tie he realised that you were right and decided to leave it.
