Ok! Listen up! It's heckin raining and cold rn so here's some prompts!

Modern

It's freezing in every corner of the house and it's this time your heater breaks down. You settle down on your balcony with a cup of scorching coffee to warm your fingers and watching the rain bring the cold.

You watch your breath dancing in the air as cold nip away your feet that's covered in your fuzzy socks.

You look up to see your weird neighbor locked out of his balcony with nothing but a thin excuse of a cover-up and freezing. They had the audacity to shoot you a finger gun as well before you scramble to help them out of the cold

~

It was obvious for your love of the cold weather, not to cuddle up and cover-up, no. You absolutely love how the cold feels.

Others around you are weirded out by how you barely cover-up to keep the cold out. Nope. You didn't mind, hence why you were now ushered by your neighbor into their house to get out of the cold.

It was quite adorable how they fuss over a mere neighbor, but, they were very kind. Their apartment was considerably colder than yours, which explains how much they were covered up. Now both of you in considerable clothes for the weather you decided to stay awhile to keep them company, seeing the only thing warming your neighbor up was a cup of hot beverage. You roam around and find their broken heater (and knowing a bit about fixing thingamajigs) you decide to fix it up for them.

And thus the start of winter visits to fix their heater, and you getting forced to bundle up for the cold.

Fantasy

You gather your stable tools and made your way through the cold to tend to your horses. However through a pile of hay in the corner of your stable, far from your horses, has a strange heat radiating off of the pile, strange but inviting.

You cautiously push the hay away and find an interesting creature, a small dragon the size of your hand laid curled up in the hay, radiating strong heat around it, even more so when you removed the creature's blanket of hay, the small creature looked up, making eye contact and you cautiously neared your cold hand.

It bowed his head and let your hand cautiously touch his hot yet inviting head. You blink at the interaction and decided to leave the dragon be, covering it up up and ending your stable chores. Every day for the next few months of the cold.

It was like that, you tend to your horses for a while and visit the dragon, your interactions were brief since you would rather leave the dragon be on his best of hay, curious as to why he appeared since it doesn't seem to be hurt, maybe it was simply seeking shelter off the cold, but it didn't seem to be the case when the cold left and the dragon stayed, your horses have also become accustomed of the tiny friend and caused no trouble.

The cold truly was an enemy, nipping away with it's freezing claws and leaving no warmth behind. You take refuge in a stable before the cold takes over you.

You crawl into a pile of hay and laid comfortably, waiting for the blasted cold to pass. You were awakened sometime after when you came eye to eye with a stable human.

Their eyes held curiosity unlike many humans who's gaze held greed and danger, this human gave you enough respect to leave you alone and offer food from time to time. Yes this human was worthy of protection and your loyalty.
