Imagine A, a wonderer, having no concept of directions. B, a spirit bound in an enchanted forest.

A was supposed to meet with C and the rest of the letters for a picnic, and A wanted to prove a darn point that they can in fact find their own way to the meeting place, and she is in charge of desserts so. A sighed in defeat succumbing to the fact that they were in fact lost.
"dang, there's no signal either"
"well duh! being in the middle of the forest the last thing you'll get is a signal" a voice startled A making them almost drop their basket. A turned around seeing a very nonchalant stranger leaning on a nearby tree dressed quite casually.
"W-what?" the strange stranger scoffed and pulled A with them.
"they'd known you'd get lost. your friends sent me to go look for you" B explained briefly and pulled A with them. A blinked having not recalled their friends inviting a new friend with them.
what could A lose, asides from themselves even more in this forest? so A silently obeyed.
"They told me you'd be easy to find. Like a duck without a head" B laughed. A gasped offended.
"Hey! that's a bit much!" A exclaimed. B rolled their eyes and laughed.
"I've watched you for hours trying to find your way, I thought they were exaggerating but they weren't that was entertaining!" B howled taking a sharp turn.
A glared at B catching their footing from that sharp turn.
"you waited hours before you actually decided to help?!" B shrugged, pulling A to walk beside them before slowing down.
"I am a firm believer of learning on your own, but sheesh, you're even bad at that!" B laughed slowing down.
A scowled and turned behind her when they noticed the stranger they did not even get the name of notice wasn't beside them anymore.
"In my def-" A turned around to see no one around her.
"A! finally! you actually found your way!" A froze when they turned around to find their friends already set up their picnic and were distributing food.
"No, I was actually... lost, didn't you send someone to fetch me?"
"What? well, we were before you popped out of nowhere."
