Ch 21 - (10k read special!)

I've finally done it!!! I've come up with the perfect special!!! I hope you all enjoy it!!!

The next morning, Mumbo woke up to see Grian standing on the balcony. The balcony they had built together. He was so in love.

He got out of bed, and went to hug Grian from behind.

"There's coffee in the kitchen if you want." Grian smiled as Mumbo kissed his head.

"I'm alright for now, I'll just stay here with you."

They stood outside a while, enjoying the warm morning sun, listening to the birds.

Over the next few weeks, it started getting cooler outside, wind blowing more, leaves changing to the prettiest colours.

Soon enough, the first day of fall had arrived.

One morning when Grian and Mumbo got up, they decided it was the perfect day to take a long walk. Not having to worry about working on anything, no shopping, just them spending time together.

They headed outside, hand in hand, and started wandering. They weren't sure where they would go, they had no destination.

The pair passed Xisuma, Cleo, and Bdubs who were all hanging out.

"Hey guys, how are you?" Grian smiled at them, and stopped to chat.

"I'm doing alright!" Cleo turned to Grian, starting a conversation about her latest build idea.

Mumbo had started a completely different conversation with the other two. They were talking about Halloween coming in a while, and what costumes they were thinking of wearing.

"Well, I think I'm going as a snow golem." Bdubs laughed.

"I was gonna go as a snow golem! Maybe I'll go as a pumpkin instead."

"Well, I can't tell you mine and Grian's plan for costumes. Well, my plan for our costumes. I haven't talked to him about it yet."

A little bit after, Grian and Mumbo left again to continue their walk.

Halloween was coming up fast. Everyone was so excited, discussing costumes, what the big party was going to be like...

Mumbo was thinking about how he wanted to do everything.

He really needed to discuss his plan with someone, but it couldn't be Grian. It would spoil everything if he did!

Iskall of course was the only person he could talk to, so he headed out to go talk to him.

"Hey, where are you going?" Grian caught him at the door.

"Oh! Hey love, I'm just heading to Iskall's, we're gonna hang out for a bit. If that's okay with you."

"Of course! Have fun!" He gave Mumbo a soft kiss and watched as he left.

Grian was baking, as he does now, enjoying his time.

He was so in love with Mumbo, and it was all he could think about.

There was nothing Grian wanted more than to spend the rest of his life with his true love.

As he baked, he also thought of the perfect couple's costume for them to wear to Impulse's Halloween party.

He'd been thinking of many different ideas; some of the sillier more obvious ones like salt and pepper, ketchup and mustard, peanut butter and jelly... Or the classic movie couples, like Jack and Rose...
