It's official, I'm pregnant. A month and a half has passed since the procedure and my morning sickness is terrible. I spend most of my days near the toilet while Maxim tries to make me eat saltine crackers and drink ginger ale. It hardly works and I'm miserable most of the time.

On top of that, my breasts are horribly sore and I'm moody. I snap at Maxim at the drop of a hat and cry over nothing in particular. I knew pregnancy was going to be like this, but it still sucks.

The only bright side is today I get to see my little girl at the ultrasound. We have a doctors appointment today. It's the second one we've ever had. The first one was just to confirm the pregnancy. It was quick and I barely got to take a look at my little bean.

I'm hoping that today's will be longer. "How are you doing, hun?" Maxim asks from next to me.

We're both sitting on the bathroom floor instead of getting ready like we should be. I was in the middle of getting dressed when I got the random urge to puke. After rushing in here, I dropped to the ground and threw up stomach acid since I haven't eaten anything this morning.

"I'm not okay if that's what you're asking." I snap while resting my forehead on the rim of the toilet. It's disgusting but I don't have it in me to care. The toilet has been cleaned six times and that's just today.

Maxim has been meticulous about keeping my areas clean. He's afraid that if I get sick, I'll lose the baby. Plenty of women get sick during pregnancy and their babies turn out fine. He's just paranoid.

"Do you need anything?" He asks while rubbing my back.

"Nope. Just give me a second." I reply while placing my right palm over the small swell of my lower stomach.

I'm not showing yet. It's just bloat but I like to pretend that it's a little baby bump. I can't wait until I start showing. I've already bought fashionable maternity clothes and I'm super excited to wear them.

My stomach finally settles and I sit up, closing the toilet lid. I flush the toilet and Maxim stands up. He offers me his hand to help me stand and I take it gratefully. "Thanks, hun." I tell him.

"You're welcome. Anything for you and our little bean." He replies while placing his hand on my lower stomach.

I practically swoon at the gesture. Maxim leans over and kisses me before guiding me out of the bathroom. We both finish getting dressed then head downstairs. At this point, we're both rushing in an effort not to be late.

We both climb into the car and Maxim carefully speeds to my doctors office. There's truly no such thing as 'careful speeding' but I would like to call it that. "Any nausea?" Maxim asks as we pull up into the parking lot.

Shaking my head I reply, "Nope. I actually feel pretty good."

Maxim shuts off the car, tells me to wait, then exits the vehicle. He rounds the front of the car and then opens my door for me. "Thank you, baby." I tell him while hopping out.

He grabs my hand as we make our way into the doctors office. When Maxim and I first decided to go through with this process, I had to find an obstetrician. This one came highly recommended and her reviews are amazing.

As we approach the check in counter, a random wave of nausea hits me. I run to the nearest trash can and throw up more stomach acid. Maxim squats down beside me and pulls my hair back from my face. "Here." He hands me a handkerchief and I thank him before wiping my mouth.

Guess I spoke too soon earlier...

My stomach clenches painfully and I press my hand to it. "I can't. It won't stop." I whine while drool fills my mouth.
