Anya POV:
A couple days ago we received a call from Maxim's manager. They just finished wrapping up shooting his new movie and now they need him to travel to promote it in several countries. He's already promoted it in America, but they want him in Canada, the UK, and Ireland.
It will be a several week long tour with his costars. We debated wether I would stay home or not, and we ultimately decided that Aria and I would come along. Maxim doesn't want to be away from Aria for too long.
That's why we're currently in the car at seven in the morning, heading for the airport. Our security is driving with another car following. They'll escort us through the airport, then another team will meet us at the following airport.
"I'm so fucking tired." Maxim groans from beside me.
He rubs his hand down his face and peeks around me to look at Aria. She's asleep in her carseat, happily sucking away on a pacifier. She's almost four months old now. The thought makes me frown. She's getting so big. I miss when she was a tiny newborn.
Those days were hard, but I would give anything to have them back.
"I am too. It doesn't help that her sleep schedule is all messed up." I finally reply.
Aria is having a tough time sleeping. She's still teething and it bothers her at random times. She was up on and off until three in the morning. I'm hoping we get some sleep on the plane.
"I hate touring." Maxim grumbles right as our driver pulls up to the front of the airport.
Our security exits the car first, surrounding it, then Maxim and I get out. He's handed Aria's stroller that her carseat hooks onto. I lift my baby out of the car, attaching her carseat to the stroller.
I'm rushing because people are already recognizing us. It doesn't help that we have all this security drawing attention, but it's necessary to ensure our safety and the baby's safety.
"Don't forget the base." Maxim informs me.
I'm quick to grab the base to Aria's seat, placing it on the rolling cart with our luggage. There's a lot since we're going to be gone for a good amount of time. One of our guards pushes it inside while we follow behind him with me pushing the stroller.
By the time our bags are checked in and we're waiting at TSA, Aria starts to wake up. She wiggles adorably in her seat and smacks her lips together. Her blue eyes slowly open and she yawns.
"Good morning, peanut." I whisper, leaning over the stroller so she can see me better.
My little girl coos and gets a large smile on her face. It's rare for Aria to smile at me. It warms my heart when she does. She smiles more at Maxim and Liam. I guess she's a Daddy's girl. It kinda hurts since I'm the one that carried her and birthed her, but I'm used to it by now.
"She awake?" Maxim asks, leaning beside me to see our daughter.
Aria kicks her legs happily when Maxim comes into view. He laughs and reaches over to tickle her belly. She grabs his finger and brings it up to her mouth, suckling on it. I laugh and scoot up in line.
When Maxim let's go of Aria, she releases a loud cry. I'm quick to unbuckle her, lifting my baby up in my arms. She's hungry, but we're almost to the front of the line.
We finally to the front of security and I step through the x-ray machine with Aria still screaming. It's attracting stares and I wince. As soon as we're through security and our bags are returned to us, Maxim grabs the diaper bag and hands me Aria's sling.
