Baige Last Part

Just as strong arms caught her.

Please Ben! Let me go! I NEED to do this!

Just then Asher ran out to his mummy.

"Mummy! What are you doing??"

"Asher! Please! Go back inside... go inside with daddy." Paige said, her voice quivering.

"But daddy is holding you..."

"Well he can let go.. CAN'T he?"

"Paige! I am NOT letting you go! I know what you'd do if I did..."

Just then, Ben saw Joel appear.

"Oh! Joel! Would you be able to take Asher inside whilst we deal with this?"

"Sure! Actually... I could take him to my house to avoid any nightmares..."

"Oh! That is a great id..."

Paige tried to jump... Ben tackled her.. grabbing her.

"Paige! It's okay.. please!"

The he turned to Joel again and said "that would be a great idea! Thank you so much!"

"You're welcome! Paige! Stay safe alright?" Joel smiled.

Then Joel went inside and took Asher.

"No! Mummy! Daddy! I wanna give them a huggy huggy!" Asher screamed out.

"Alright! Quick Asher! We have got to go!" Joel informed.

Asher ran over to his daddy and gave him a big hug. As he was doing this... Paige tried to jump... Ben had to try and tackle Paige back onto the land, with a 4 year old clinging onto him...

Joel came to the rescue and said, "Asher.. why don't you come to my house now and I'll give you smarties and ice cream!"

"Oooh! Yummy! Okay! Right after I give mummy a huggy huggy...." Asher let go of his daddy and Ben tackled Paige back onto the land. 

Then he turned to his mummy and gave her a big hug. He smiled and she smiled back with her face covered in tear stains.

Once Asher and Joel had left, Paige tried to jump again for the 4th time.

"Please! Ben! Let me go!" Paige wailed.

"Paige! For the 1000nth time, I AM NOT!"

"Oh! why are  Courtney and Luke there? Paige lied.

"Where?!" Ben looked around. Paige tried to jump. Quickly, Ben shot his head around and looked at Paige. "Paige! Please! Darling! This is the 5th time! I am taking you to a mental health facility right now...."

"NO!" Paige screamed.

"Just let me go! Let me do this! I BEG you! I am okay!" Paige sobbed.

"No! Paige! Suicidal thoughts and actually about to do it, is not okay! Come on! Let's go back to the house."

"No Ben! I have GOT to do this!"

"Think about our little Asher! He loves you! I love you! We're a family! I wouldn't be able to cope without you! I don't want you to have to go through this! Please Paige! Think about what's yet to come... maybe more kids... more for KING AND COUNTRY tours to attend... more life worth living... there's some to name a few!"

"Ben! The girls told me I weren't worthy of having you! That you deserved better! They told me you asked them to tell me that.. please! Don't lie to me!"

"WHAT?! Paige! I did not! What girls are you talking about? Courtney and Moriah?"

"No! My University friends!"

*sigh* "Oh Paige! No! Darling! I didn't! I swear! I love you to bits!"

"You promise?"

"I pinky promise!"

They both went inside and huddled together.

"I am so sorry for putting all that stress on you!" Paige sobbed.

"Hey! Look at me!" Ben told Paige.

"Don't be sorry! I love you! Thank you for letting me know why you wanted to do it." Ben smiled.

"I still want to..."

Ben's smile dropped. "Paige! Why?!"

"Because I can't live with the guilt that I put all this stress on Joel, Asher and YOU!"

"Paige! Don't worry about it. We're a family. I am here for you! We all are here for you! If you ever need a refuge, we will all be right here until the end!"

Paige fell asleep on the couch after about half an hour of Ben comforting her. Ben lay beside her, where there wasn't much room, and fell asleep.
