AMITY POV
Today is my birthday and then I'm finally leaving here and going back to luz
I already graduated and right when I got there I was number 1 student it really pissed me off cause it reminded me of who I use to be
Luz really changed me she probably doesn't feel the same way anymore
I heard em call my name from downstairs I just wanted to pack up and leave right now but my flight doesn't leave till the afternoon so I had to bare with it
I walked downstairs to see em she had made breakfast for me which was sweet
There's my birthday girl
Yah yah don't make a big deal about it and don't over do it you know I don't care for my birthday
I never took my birthday seriously I always felt the same I'm 18 now but I still feel like I'm 17 that's how it's always been it felt like nothing changed
After eating breakfast me,ed and em went to the mall so we can look around
We got into the em's car and started to drive she put on the radio the songs were not really the genre of music I like I'm more of a indie and indie rock type person
Until I heard our song start to play when I first left to New York it was the only song I would listen to I couldn't talk to her since my mom deleted her off my contacts
And I didn't know what her number was so I could never call or text her
I held in my tears and switched the song em looked at me she looked concerned
Hey isn't that your favorite song why did you change it em said
I love the song but it reminds me to much of her and I don't feel like crying today
Em didn't push any further and just nodded and keep on driving we finally got there after a while
I wasn't really paying attention to what was around me I was just thinking about how I was leaving
I seen that no one bought the old manor so I already bought it and that's where I was going to live
I decided to actually look around I seen a hot topic so we all went in I was looking around I seen a lesbian flag I always wanted one
But if my parents saw it they would definitely ask what it was and I'm not the best liar so I bought it since I was going to live by myself and I needed to decorate
I wanted Ed and em to move with me but they were going to stay in New York but they both were going to bye a place and both live in it
After a couple of hours of looking around we left since my flight was in 3 hours and I still needed to get ready to leave everyone knew I was leaving I told my parents
That I was moving to California but I was actually going back to Connecticut
We finally got back to the house I went up to my room and started to pack all of my things after a bit I got all of my things packed I knew it was going to be a hour long trip so I changed into some black sweatpants and a black hoodie
Em was going to drive me to the airport we finally got there and my flight was going to leave in 10 minutes so I quickly went to where my airplane was going to take off and went inside the airplane
I was just enjoying the view from the window the flight went by really quick which was expected since it was like a one hour flight
Then I seen hexside the old manor
I went inside and it looked the same I went to where my room was and started to unpack i sent a u-Haul to get the rest of my things
After awhile they finally got here
This was going to a long day of unpacking
