Jimin leans against the wall of the hallway, staring at Y/n while she walks down the area. There's several over students here, but of course Jimin only cares about her. She peeps down at the ground with her earbuds in while holding her books protectively against her chest. Short skirt... damn those legs. Jimin licks his lower lip and smirks. He'll hand it to her: she's attractive. He admires her beauty and passion, that's why he picks on her so much. To see that passionate side of her. He hates her... but he also adores her, in a way. It's a strange feeling.

He creeps away from his spot as she nears him. She doesn't see him until it's too late. Jimin doesn't show any mercy, he simply knocks her books out of her hands. He didn't even notice her phone lying on the top of it until it clatters to the ground, her earbuds falling with it. She goes still while Jimin bursts out laughing. "Take that Gryff!" he cheers. To his surprise - Y/n doesn't utter a sound.

His face falls as she kneels and picks up her books silently, checking her phone to make sure it's not cracked before putting her earbuds back in and leaving. Jimin blinks. What the hell was that? He furrows his brows and rushes after her. He rips an earbud out of her ear, the girl flinching at the action. "What's up with you today Gryff? Scared?" he teases with a glint of amusement in his eyes. Her eyes, however, avert to the ground as she brings her books closer to her.

He notices they're about to turn the corner, so he grabs her shoulders and stops her near it. She reluctantly meets his eyes. "Not today please," she whispers.

He chuckles, "Since when do you get a choice in that Gryff?"

She pushes him back. "I said not today."

His left eye twitches. "You're not very good at this whole 'rivals' thing."

"Can't you leave me alone? Just once? One day of peace that's all I'm asking for."

"Unfortunately I don't really listen to you sweetheart," he says with an evil smirk.

"You're such an asshole," she mumbles, walking away from him.

He grunts and follows again. "You can't escape me," he says, but she only plops her earbud in and goes faster. So, he takes things to the extreme. Jimin sprints forward and grabs her phone, unplugging the earbuds and taking off with it. He snickers while he runs, not bothering to check if she's chasing him or not. Jimin slows to a stop in front of the transfiguration classroom and holds the phone close to his chest.

He turns in time to see... not Y/n. It's just other students. Y/n's no where to be seen. He swallows his pride and looks around some more, "Y/n?" Jimin lets out a huff and shoves her phone in his pocket. Well great. He lost her. Nice going Park, you lost Y/n L/n. How hard is that, she's not exactly difficult to spot. He's known her for years, and every time she's nearby he knows. His eyes naturally gravitate to her.

When he realizes that she's not coming back, he sighs and turns around again. He'll see her in potions, so there's that. But where the hell did she go? What class does she have that made her break off from him? Or maybe she snuck into a bathroom? It's hard to tell, but Jimin doesn't really care right now. Well he does, he wants to see her, but he's trying not to think about it too much. Instead, he decides to go look for his class...

Jimin gazes at Y/n's phone while he sits in potions waiting for her. She's late. Where the hell is she? She's rarely late. Only a few days ago she was late too. What the hell is going on with her? Is she okay? Of course Jimin doesn't care about her well-being, but it's still a question that plagues his mind for some reason. It's not his problem. Right? Then why are his hands clammy at the thought of her in danger?

He gulps as the class takes their seats, the professor walking to the front of the class and starting the lesson. So she's really not coming? Where is she? Jimin peers around but sees nothing. She's no where to be seen. Jimin shoots his hand up. "Yes Mr. Park?" the professor asks.

"May I use the bathroom?"

The professor almost snorts. "Fine. You better be back within five minutes."

"I will be ma'am,' Jimin replies before slipping her phone into his pocket and casually walking out of the classroom.

As soon as the door shuts behind him, he sprints off down the halls. Everyone's in class, so the corridors are completely empty. There's probably teachers patrolling, but that's the least of his concern right now. He keeps going and going until he reaches the Gryffindor side of the place, seeing a familiar Gryff hanging out near the front door with two of his friends. "Namjoon," Jimin calls.

The man looks up and furrows his brows. "What are you doing here Jimin? Don't you have class?"

"I asked to use the bathroom, but that's not important. Do you know where Y/n is? I haven't seen her since this morning and she isn't in class. That's not like her. You and I both know that, she almost cut class a few days ago too. What's going on with her?"

Namjoon narrows his eyes. "Why in the hell would I tell you that?"

Jimin's face falls. "What... what do you mean?"

"Oh yeah, let me tell you my best friend's problems so you can go spread rumors about her. Go away asshole."

They're supposed to be friends too, right? "What? But... Namjoon we're friends aren't we?"

Namjoon sighs, "Sure, but not when it comes to Y/n. Stay the hell away from her. I'm tired of seeing her mood get crashed because of you."

"Please just tell me where she is. I have something to give her."

"Oh yeah, like I'll believe that."

Jimin takes out her phone and shows it to him, "See? I have her phone now please tell me where she is."

The older man eyes the device in Jimin's hand, groaning after. "She's in the bathroom near your potions class. I walked her there but she told me she'd be a while and that I should go. Don't go inside. I can't believe I have to tell you that, but please don't."

Because he's in such a rush, Jimin doesn't even argue. "Thank you," he says before turning on his heel and sprinting.

It takes him a full minute to reach the bathrooms, Jimin panting by the time he reaches the area. He sees the entrance to the girls bathroom and sighs. He can't go in, but he needs to talk to her before his professor ends his life. So he walks to the door and places a hand on it. "Y/n! I know you're in there! Please come out we need to talk!" he calls out. After a few seconds, he gets no answer. "Y/n! Please I'm not here to start a fight I just want you to come to class!"

Another few seconds pass, and the door finally opens. Y/n strolls right past him, but he manages to snatch her elbow and turn her around. Due to the force, she ends up in his personal space. He bites back a gasp at the sudden proximity, his heart racing seeing her so close to him. Jimin's hand stays on her elbow while their eyes lock, his face flushed. "I... uh..." he whispers. He can't form any words. She rolls her eyes and rips herself out of his grasp. "W-Wait your phone," Jimin says, holding it out to her.

She turns and eyes it, then scoffs. "How do I know you won't just drop it and play with me like you always do?"

For the first time since they became enemies Jimin feels genuinely bad for what he's done to her. Looking at her angry, almost broken eyes makes him frown. "I... here. Please." He steps closer until he's right in front of her, in her personal space. It's safe to say his heart is racing again. "I won't drop it this time." Jimin carefully places the phone in her hands. She squeezes it once it's secured. Without a word she walks away, not even sparing him a final glance. Jimin lets out a breath he didn't know he had in him. Something's different in his heart. What started as hatred is turning into something else, and Jimin can't control it. The worst part is... he's not sure if he even wants to control it...
