He balanced his weight on his elbows placed on the bed. "Is this the kind of naughty thoughts you're having?"

Kim swallowed the lump in her throat. "What are you doing?" Alex leaned in closer to her. "I'm only making your heart desires come through."

Before she could say anything, his lips lightly brushed hers. If she didn't know any better, she would have concluded that she imagined it. As sudden as it happened, he was standing back up. It was little wonder that the towel didn't fall off, considering how loose it was. Hurriedly she got up as well. She was pissed. He had no right whatever to do what he just did. "What was that all about?"

"What are you talking about?"

She laughed scornfully not believing her ears. "Are you going to play dumb with me right now?"

Alex just ignored her and went to his closet to pick out what he would wear.

"I'm talking to you."

"You don't speak to me in such manner Kimberley." He said angrily.

Kim scoffed pacing. "Are you being angry right now? I'm the one supposed to be mad. You kissed me without my consent. I could sue you for sexual harassment."

Alex smiled, putting on a black purple shirt. "First of all, I barely kissed you. It would be really pathetic of you to call that a kiss. And secondly, what makes you think I would be attracted to you that I would want harass you sexually? Thirdly Kimberley, if you don't turn around right now, I'd be the one suing you not only for sexual harassment but invasion of privacy."

Kim looked at him in confusion. What the hell was he talking about? Alex tugged on the towel and she turned around quickly. She muttered profanities against him. She could practically feel her nostrils flaring up.

"I'm heading out, make sure to finish up before you leave," he instructed.

She turned around to face him, assuming he was done. "Of course I'd finish up."

"Good," He answered coldly. "4671990." "What's that?"

"The password to the house so you can have access to the apartment".

"Why would you want to give me the password to your house?"

Alex sighed pressing this temple. "Because Kimberley, you're the cleaner. I have a busy schedule, I don't think I would be home when you arrive everyday. Stop having the wrong ideas." Something about the way he called her a cleaner, especially so coldly annoyed her. But she wasn't going to let him get to her. "I wasn't having the wrong ideas, I was only surprised. In fact, what makes you think I would be interested in you anyway?"

"Why wouldn't you be? I'm every girl's dream man."

"You mean only masochists, because no sane person would want a sadist as a dream man."

"Then you're a masochist then, for liking a sadist like me." "Whatever floats your boat. I deserve so much more. I don't see any reason why I would be interested in you. I know how I like my men."

"Keep telling yourself that till you eventually believe that. It's best for the both of us anyway."

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever. What was the passcode again?" "Such low IQ", he muttered.

"What does low IQ have to do with this? I wasn't 1even paying attention."

"That's because your attention was somewhere it shouldn't even be."

"I do not even want to know what you mean by that. Just tell me the passcode already."

Not answering her, he tore out a piece of paper from his drawer and wrote it down for her. "You're done here right?"

She nodded her head, taking the piece of paper from him. She walked out of his room, with him close behind.

She stopped in front of him. "I should get going, I'm done after all."

"I'll drop you off"."

Her heart skipped a beat. "That won't be necessary."

"I insist. I mean I'm guessing you didn't drive here, that's why I offered you a ride."

"I didn't drive here, but I'll have to decline."

"Stop being so stubborn Kimberley. At least let me get you to the bus stop."

Alex looked at her with a raised brow. She sighed in defeat. "Fine."

Quietly they both left the apartment. She was nervous. She couldn't imagine how awkward the ride would be. She hated him but yet was so drawn to him. She hated how he was hot and cold.

"Was it just a game to him?" She wondered.

The elevator ride seemed longer than usual. She tapped her foot nervously trying to think of something else.

"Where you headed?" He asked startling her. "Uh Rico Cafe".

"So I was right huh?"

She replied without looking at him. "Right about what?" "You have two jobs".

"Not everyone is born with the same privilege as you".

He turned to face her. "What makes you think I'm from a rich home?"

Just then the elevator door opened. She shrugged in answer to his question and stepped out.

He fell in step with her. "Anyway my job offer still stands, that is, if you are interested."

"I'll think about it." "Suit yourself."

They waited for the valet to bring the car. She rolled her eyes. "Rich folks", she thought.

"Oh my God," a lady screamed, "Director Alex."

She turned to look at him, hearing his name for the very first time.

He looked angry at the attention. "Yes"

"Can't believe you're the one." The woman said. Just then the valet arrived with the car. Alex said thank you and hurried to his car, a white sports car.

"I'm sorry I have to go."

Kim didn't even have the time to admire the car. He shut the car door after practically dragging and shoving her into the car.

"That was not very nice," she complained once he was seated. "I didn't want to speak with her I'm sorry."

She was shocked to hear him apologize. She just nodded her head. She haven't known him for long, but she knew she didn't want to stop seeing him. Something about him drew her to him. Maybe she might consider accepting his offer. After all, she was sure, he would pay well. Just what she and Tessa needed.
