He watched her eyes trained on his biceps before travelling to his chest. Slowly her eyes made their way to his waist where his trousers hung loosely. She gulped before meeting his eyes again. He smirked, glad he had decided to take off his shirt in the middle of the night when he went to the bathroom. He loved the effect he was having on her.

"You mean you want to get me fired for arriving early when you complained about me being late yesterday?"

"I never said I wanted to fire you."

"Good. Now that's cleared out, do you mind letting me come in?".

Alex stepped aside wordlessly, allowing her get in. She walked past him and headed straight to the kitchen. He couldn't help but notice her outfit today. Instead of the big clothes she usually wore, her look was different this morning. He could make out the outline of her ass in the skinny jeans she wore. This time she

chose the right size of shirt not the extra large ones she usually wore. How did he not notice that earlier. He walked after her, to the kitchen.

"Since you're here and you woke me up, why don't you cook up breakfast."

Kim stopped what she was doing to look at him. When it was obvious he wasn't joking, she scoffed. "Do I look like a cook to you?"

"Quite honestly, yes you do." "Very funny Sir."

"I'm actually serious."

"I don't think you are, no offense. I mean it's not even in my job description."

"I'll pay you obviously. Besides we can always make our own little contract, I bet that measly agency is only paying just so little."

Kim blinked feeling insulted. "Even if what you're saying is true, I'm not complaining."

"You don't have to complain to me for me to know. I bet you have another job".

"How would you know?"

"Like I said, they wouldn't pay you much. Probably the minimum wage".

Kim turned around backing him. He went back to cleaning the counter. "Still, I'm not making any 'little contract' with you. I know how those things usually turn out."

Alex smiled, his interest pecked. "And how do those things usually turn out?"

Kim turned around to face him. "You know, you rich folks playing people like me to your advantage, practically turning people to your slaves."

Alex laughed, taking a seat at the kitchen isle. "Such misplaced conception and to think you're being stereotypical here, is actually sad."

Kim gave him a dirty look but didn't say anything.

"On the brighter side," Alex continued "if you accept my offer, you get to quit whatever job you're doing right now. Heck, you could even quit this cleaning job. I could actually hire you as my P.A."

Kim just looked at him like he had grown two heads, just in a fraction of a minute. She was surprised, she couldn't even believe what she heard. "Excuse me."

"I don't repeat myself Kimberley, you should know that by now."

"You're telling me that out of the blues, you want me to be your P.A.?"

"Why is that so hard for you to believe?"

"I don't know", Kim stated, walking around the isle to stand in front of him. "Someone thinks it's okay to joke around. Like it's okay for you to empty your smoothie on the floor today and offer a new job as your P.A. the very next day, after threatening to fire me, mind you."

Alex leaned back on his seat, his arms crossed. "I could be bipolar."

She scoffed, placing her hand on her hip. "Is this a joke to you?" Sighing, he stood up from his seat. "I'm a very impatient man. So if you're going to make up your mind to accept it, then I suggest you do that fast." He smiled at her before turning to leave. "Oh and you missed a spot." He pointed out before making for his room. She rolled her eyes at his retreating self. When he was out of sight, she punched the air where he stood and wished her punches were actually aimed at him. She felt like screaming. It seemed he was sent from the pit of hell to torment her cleaning everyday when everything was exactly the same way she left it the previous day. How easy it was for him to ruin her mood. After the smoothie incident yesterday, she had decided to act nice and cheerful, probably it would get him off her radar, but it seems it backfired at her. She pushed the mop with so much force, that she feared it would snap any minute. She dropped the mop and practiced the breathing technique to calm herself down. After about five minutes, she continued her work, a lot calmer than before. The next place she went to was the guest room. She didn't spend much time there. She sighed wishfully at the sight of the en suite. She couldn't seem to get enough of it. She didn't even want to think about his own bathroom. This was tiny compared to his. As fast as she could, she washed the bathroom.

She stood outside his bedroom contemplating whether or not she

should go in. She'd been knocking on the door, but there was no reply. Taking a deep breath, she turned the door knob and hoped to God that he wasn't in. She took a small step inside, scanning the room for any trace of him. The balcony door was closed so she was sure he wasn't outside. Releasing a relieved sigh, she closed the door. She went straight for bed to make it. She rolled her eyes picking up the duvet from the floor. After she was done, she hurriedly swept the floor. She wiped his bedside table, making sure to carefully lift his wrist watch, knowing it cost more than everything she owned. Suddenly she heard the door open. She almost dropped the watch in shock. She turned around, her heart accelerating. He was dripping hot, hair wet, with a white towel tied loosely around his waist.

"Why did he have to be in the bathroom?" She thought.

"Did you just break something?" He asked, walking to where she was. He bent down to inspect his watch, exposing his toned back to her. She gulped, trying hard not to look at the sexy man standing mere inches away from her. How cliche could this day be?

"You almost broke this," he said looking at her.

"If you had not scared me like that, then you wouldn't have been worried. I was being careful," Kim defended.

He looked at her coldly which sent shivers down her spine. "Do you always have an answer to everything?"

"Huh," she answered distractedly, her eyes on his lips. "Do you mind moving back a little, the proximity is making me uncomfortable."

Alex smirked, licking his lips slowly. He stepped closer to her. "You mean like this?"

"I said backwards", she said weakly, her voice hoarse. Why on earth was she feeling this way. Did she crave a man's touch so much?

"Why?"

She licked her lips to moist them, "because I said it's uncomfortable."

"My question is why are you so uncomfortable, I mean I'm just a harmless guy standing close to you."

"You mean a harmless guy in only towel standing freakishly close to me. It's giving me naughty thoughts." Why did she say that? Like his ego wasn't bigger than mount everest, hearing her say this would just elevate it even more. She closed her eyes in shame.

Alex laughed. "You mean you're having naughty thoughts about your boss?"

"You're not exactly my boss," she said quickly.

"Tsk tsk," Alex uttered in disapproval as if talking to a child. "Is that enough reason to have such naughty thoughts?"

Kim closed her eyes and tried to calm her breathing. "Could you please move?" She demanded. It happened so fast. This moment, they were both standing up and the next, they were both on the bed, with her beneath him.
